A note and a awkward goodbye

we rush to school and time flies through the classes.

I sit at my table when two boys peer into the classroom. New students? I look at them and see that they aren't wearing the uniforms. One of them who has dark brown hair sits next to me and the other across. I look back at my paper trying not to be a creep and stare at the new boys. Suddenly in front of my paper is a note. I start reading. "So what are we doing?" I look up at the blonde boy who is hella confused. I write back on the paper. "Writing about the chapter we read" I slide it back to the boy who is messing around with a lip ring. The boy next to me looks at me like I'm crazy. The bell rings to be dismissed. 

I pick up my binder and a hand is on my arm. It's Michael. "Hey" I say looking at him who is smiling like a dork. I brush up against the brown haired boy. "Oh my god I'm so sorry!" I say nervously. "Oh it's totally fine" he smiles "I'm calum and that's Lucas" he says picking up his schedule. I pull on my maroon sweater leave and wave awkwardly. "Uh Carmen. Lunch? Soon?" Michael says pulling on my hand. Michael pulls me away awkwardly and stares into my eyes. "Carmen. Soon" Michael drags me down the hallway well I wave bye to the boys standing there confused. 

I sit at our table and wait for Michael to get his food. At the cafe door the two boys stand there really awkwardly. I find myself walking up to them. "Calum and Lucas right?" I say looking at the boys. "Well it's Luke." Luke says lightly smiling. "Do you guys want to come sit with my best friends and I?" I ask regretting it. They look at each other and nod their heads yes. I show them the table. 

We sit down on the bench. "Oh. I'm Carmen by the way" I say smiling. "Well uh you already know our names, so" Calum jokes. Suddenly someone up behind me covers my eyes. "Guess who?!?" They say. "Uh Niall?" I guess and look up once the hands are removed. Niall sits next to me. "I'm Luke and that's calum" Luke says trying to make friends. Liam and Michael walk up together and sit down on the bench. "So these are my friends Niall,Liam and Michael" I point to the boys who are sipping there lemonade or taking fries out of the crate. "And this is calum and the one with the quiff is Luke" I say looking at them. We sit down for awhile and another boy shows up. "Ashton!!!" Luke and calum both get up from their seats. I look at them smiling. "This is our pretty much brother Ashton" Calum smiles. 

"hello there Ashton" I say putting my water down. "We should all hang out later!" I say getting up from the seat. "Luke. Will your mom let us?" Ashton says sitting down. "Ya probably as long as we do our homework well we are there" Luke says looking at the boy with a short curly hair going everywhere. "My place!?" I say all happy. "Ya why not" Liam says hitting his cup and having the drink go everywhere. "Carmen your books!" Niall says picking up my now wet books off the table. "Carmen I'm so sorry!" Liam says getting a cloth to whip away the mess. "No no it's fine" I say putting my wet books on the dining hall floor. 

Luke's p.o.v

I look at Carmen who is being incredibly cute without even trying to. I stop looking at her brown hair flowing and her green emerald eyes. Suddenly lemonade spills all over the table. I move my tray onto the table behind us and do the same with the other trays well Niall takes her books off the table dripping. She's saying something but I can't hear her that well. She looks so sad. She picks up her book which I'm guessing was her favorite and tries to get as much lemonade off the pages before the smear. The ink spreads everywhere. "Oh divergent?" I say looking at her. "Ya." She snuffles. "I have the same book!" I say smiling. The lunch bell rings. 

We get up from our spots and go off to our next class. I walk down the hallway trying to find the library. I finally find it and see Carmen sitting in the back of the library trying to repair her book. "Luke!" She smiles cutely with no effort. I walk closer to her. "Have you read the second one yet?" I say holding the pages back well she puts a paper towel in each page. "No not yet. I haven't gotten my hands on it yet" she says sadly. " I probably read this over 1000 times to be honest" she giggles and brings her hand up to move her hair. Damn she's cute. "You can have mine" I say giggling. "I know this sounds really crazy but I love divergent and I have the whole set" I say pulling another page back.  She gets all happy. "Really?!? You have it?!?" She gets all jumpy and giggles. "You can read it at one cost-
