"What's the opposite of stop?" Luke says blushing a little. "Go" I say standing up from my seat.
"What's one plus one?" He asks loud enough for everyone to hear.

"What is P-R-O-M spell?" Luke says sliding off the table.

"With me?" Luke says standing in the middle of the dining hall.
I run up to Luke and he drops his sign. He pulls me into a hug. "Yeah" I say rolling my eyes. "SHE SAID YEAH!!!!!" Siara yells. The crowd cheers and starts eating again.

I walk home and Luke has basketball practice.

I sit on my bed and lay down. I sit up and walk down the hallway and down the stairs to to kitchen. I look on the marble countertop and see a envelope. I open it up to see 5 $100 bills and a note.

I forgot to tell you I was going away for about two weeks. In this envelope I have $500 for food and what not. All the bills are payed, so you don't have to worry about that. I know your winter prom is in the next week so I have about $300 in my room on my nightstand for you to get your dress and anything else for the night. I'm guessing your going with Luke. My fingers run across the lined paper with the nite written in blue ink. I know my dad always writes in blue ink. I fold up the letter and shove it back into the envelope. I roll my eyes.

Dad just randomly leaves. And comes back in like a month or so. It's so stupid. Normally I would go with my brother all the way in England with his wife and his baby, but I can't. They don't have enough room for me anymore. They changed the guest room into a nursery. I miss my brother. To think of it my family is broken. My mom died from drug use a few months ago. My brother is across the globe. And I haven't meet my nephew. I know I am only 17 but still. I sit at the breakfast bar and stare at my long board. I gave Niall my skateboard before everything happened.

Fuck I'm thirsty. I slide off the stool and go to the fridge, my life to be honest.

I walk to the school and because to watch Luke's practice, I climb up the marrón and gold bleachers. I sit on the top and take out my phone. I look up and Luke is waving. I wave back and Luke gets pelted in the head with a ball. Idiot. He shakes it off and starts shooting again.
"Alright boys. Let's do a small game and then you guys will hit the showers" the couch also my gym teacher yells.
"Luke your captain. And uh James" he studders. "Who is James?" I whisper to myself quietly.
They call out names but James just points. Once the teams are picked they toss up the ball and start. I try to follow the ball around but I get lost.
I look down at the doorway and see Siara walking in. She walks in with a green flannel shirt, tan infinity scarf, blue jeans and high tan boots. "Hey" I wave. She looks up and run up to me. "Why you here?" She questions, as she sits next to me. "Well my dad left for about a month and gave me money for food. So I'm home alone and it was boring" I say watching James I think make a lay up. I look at the flip board and see that Luke and James teams are tied. "Boys go get in the shower after water break!" Mr. Gale yells.
I walk down and hand Luke his bottle water. "Thanks babe" he smiles. "Who's this James guy?" I ask. "Oh he came from I think Chester, England. And he has another guy who came here on a full basketball scholarship. James is pretty cool and he plays guitar I heard. I don't know a lot about the other guy. I think his name is Conner? Not quite sure" Luke babbles. I nod and Mr.gyle yells "Luke go get in the shower. Stop talking" Luke nods and tries to hug me. "Ew your all gross" I say pushing him back. Luke smirks and tosses me his water.

Calum POV

I open my locker and Luke walks in smirking. "Siara is out there" he says throwing a deodorant at me. I catch it in my hand and throw it in my locker. "I know" I say grabbing body wash. I turn to the showers and open up a stall and go in. I rip off the gross practice uniform we use and toss it on the floor. The bubbles run down the drain and I quickly turn off the water. I wrap my waist in a towel and leave the stall. I quickly change and Conner walks up behind me. "Calum no ass" he laughs. I pull up my boxers and sit on the bench pulling up the black skinny jeans. I throw on a grey tank top. "Where's Luke?" Conner asks pulling on his shirt. "Shower" I say packing up my duffle bag and zipping it up.

Luke walks out with his hair not in a quiff at all and all floppy. "James!" He yells. James yells back in the shower. "What the hell Luke I got shampoo in my eye!" I chuckle. "You left your boxers idiot" Luke snows back tossing the red boxers across the locker room to the shower.

Luke POV

I leave the locker room and Carmen and Siara are laughing about something. Her smile is so cute.
"Sup" Siara stops laughing and talks to me. "Sup" I say nodding my head up. Carmen walking over and giggles me a hug. "Hi!" I say smiling. "Hi" she blushes.
