Chicken soup

I walk down the street losing Calum and Siara so it's just Luke and I. "Wanna go to my house instead?" Luke asks. I nod my head and follow him. We walk through the small one way streets with tall pastel houses until we reach his brown house. I look next door to see Niall paying a badass guy for a brown paper bag. It looks like he is handing him a 100 dollar bill. I shake my head and walk into Luke's front door to see Ashton playing just dance. "Ash?" Luke giggles. Ashton throws his remote on the couch and turn off the tv. "We're you just playing just dance?" I ask laughing. "Pftt no" Ashton lies. Luke jumps over the dye of the couch and sits near Ashton. I walk over to sit down in the couch. "Carmen are you hungry?" Luke questions moving closer to me. "Eh not really" I say with a gentle smile. "Okay" Luke says placing a gentle kiss on my cheek.  I take out my phone and ask my dad if I can stay the night. It's inky a Tuesday and I don't have to go to school tomorrow. He replies back with "yes but don't get pregnant lol jk"
To dad: stop trying to be cool.
I put my phone away and tell Luke. "Can you stay?" Luke mummers. "Hehe yep" is smile looking at him. Ashton leans over "wait. What?"
The front door open and I see Calum. "Hey cal" I say. Siara walks in too. "Carmen!!" She walks over to me. "What up?" I ask. "Just hanging with cal" they go upstairs to his room well Luke Ashton and I stay down stairs.

4:00

I lay on the couch staring at the bruise. It hurts bad. Luke had placed a bunch blankets on the floor if I wanted to go down there with him. I stare at the blue and purple spots on my ribs. Luke turns his head and looks at me. "Babe you'll be okay" he says placing a kiss on my bruise. I flinch at the sudden touch and roll my shirt back down. "I can't believe Michael did that to you" Ashton says since I told him about it all. Ashton clenches his jaw and stands up off the end of the couch. "I am going next door and then Michaels" he snaps. I jump up and grab his arm. "No that's just a waste of time. Let's just wait it all out" I suggest. "No I am not. They don't have the right to kick you" Ashton says running his finger through his curly hair. I pull him back to the couch. "Fine I won't do it but I will make sure someone breaks a couple bones" he hisses. "Just cool down a bit. You think I don't want to break Michael in pieces?" Luke stares. "I would and same with the drug dealer Niall" Luke snaps. "Wait drug dealer?" Ashton says with a surprised  expression. "Ya he was giving Michael a bag and when we got here he was paying. $100 dollars to a scary looking guy" I say shaking my head. "Holy shit" ash blurts. "I know. It's bad" Luke replies.

9:00pm

Luke POV

I next to me and see Carmen cuddling up with the blanket. Siara and Calum walk down from the  stairs and walk towards the door. "Luke I'm bringing her home, want anything?" Cal asks. "Nah I'm good. Bye Siara" I wave. I look back down and see Carmen wave her hand up. "She says goodbye" I say. Siara waves back and Cal leaves behind her. I slide back down and lay on my back. My mom opens the front door. "Hey mum" I say. "Hey Luke is Carmen here?" She asks.
"Ya she's asleep" I reply. She nods and walks to her room.

11:00 pm
I kiss Carmen well she sleeps and tickle her sides. "Princess, we can't sleep in the living room all night" I say. She slowly lifts herself up and is still half asleep. I turn off the tv and pick her up to bring her upstairs. Her hair flows and she giggles slightly. I open my bedroom door and set her on my bed. "Here" I say handing her some clothes. She walks into the bathroom and changes. I quickly change into grey sweatpants and a white tee shirt. She walks out looking so cute in my clothes. "Awee you look so cute babe" I say with a smirk rising. She looks so cute in a white tee and flannel bottoms. I open the covers and we both glide in carefully. I lay closer to her and she nuzzles right in. "I love you" she says covering her face with the blanket. "I love you too" I say as my cheeks start firing up. I turn the light off.

Carmen POV

I wake up and see Luke running out of the bed. He covers his mouth with his hand. I move off the bed and see him hovering over the toilet. He sits on the bathroom floor puking. I move next to him and rub circles on his back. "Awe lukey" I say kissing his cheek. About 20 minutes later Luke slowly stands up and moves next to the sink he washes his face. "Carmen I feel sick" Luke says running his fingers in his hair. "Well obviously" I laugh. "It's not funny" Luke says in a raspy voice. "Well I know it's not. You go lay down mr. " I say helping him out of his bathroom. "Carmen it's fucking three in the morning. Your not babying me" Luke hisses sitting on his bed. "I don't care. If I didn't love you then I wouldn't be making you get better. Since I fucking love you I'm helping you. Okay? Okay." I ramble on. I lean in and kiss Luke on his lips even though he didn't brush his teeth yet. "Why did you just kiss me if I didn't brush my teeth yet?" Luke asks. "Because I don't care if I get sick. I'm going to go find a thermometer" I say well Luke rooms back into his bed. I close his bedroom door and walk downstairs in the dark and bump into someone. I flicker on the light and see Calum standing there. "What are you doing awake?" Calum asks me. "Trying to find a thermometer" I reply. "Why are you just walking in?" I question. "I had fun with Siara" he says winking. "Ohhhhhhh" I say like we would all say when someone was called to the office. We walk off and I find the downstairs bathroom to open up the cabinet and see a thermometer sitting there. I run up the stares and turn off the light. I open Luke's door to see him laying there shivering. I walk over and tell him to open his mouth. He sticks in the thermometer in. We wait for about a minute and hear the deep. I look at the number and see 102.3 . "Luke you have a fever" I say putting the plastic thermometer on his nightstand. "But how can I be this warm when I'm freezing?" Luke questions. "I don't know I'm no doctor" I say grabbing another blanket and putting it over him. "Are you hungry?" I ask. "Hell ya" Luke says wrapping up in blankets. " I'll be right back" I say getting up off the edge of the bed. I glide down the hallway and open up a cabinet.

I find chick soup and put that into a pot and cook it over the stove. After its ready I get out a red bowl and pours the soup into it. I find a packet of saltines and put that on the tray also. I turn off the burner and out everything into the sink. I quickly run up the stairs and open Luke's door. He lays there half awake half asleep. "Babe, you awake?" He moves slowly and sits up right. I put the tray on his lap and he starts eating the soup. "Babe, I love you and this feels good" Luke says swallowing the hot broth. He opens his mouth and blows and steam rises. He giggles and finishes. I sit next to him and rub my eyes. "Why don't you rest" I say to Luke he finishes his soup and puts it next his bed. I move under a blanket and cuddle up with Luke. "Your going to get sick" Luke protests. "If I do then at least I'm with you" I say cuddling in. He wraps his arms around me and he drifts to sleep. About ten minutes I drift to sleep.
