Chapter 6: Move on

Louis' POV

(Monday, May 13, 2013)

Today i was meeting up with Ava. Ava James.

i mean i had to. after all, i did sleep with her.

we were going to starbucks.

Ava was actually a really pretty girl.

medium brunette hair. hazel eyes.

she was much easier to get then Dakota. but don't think i'm giving up on Dakota.

 after i put on some jeans and a navy blue t-shirt, i head out the door.

...

"Louis!" Ava exclaims.

"Hey Ava!" i say back.

Ava's POV

I was glad me and Louis were meeting up.

i wonder if he liked me?

well he must've, he did sleep with me.

"so what's new?" i ask sipping my coffee.

"nothing really, going on tour in a month tho." he says.

"oh thats cool."

"oh my gosh!" his jaw drops.

i'm confused.

i follow to where his eyes are and i land on a girl with blonde hair and its pulled back in a bun.

Louis' POV

Oh no.

Dakota is here!?

she's wearing a uniform. she must work here. well i gotta get out of here before she sees me with Ava or else she'll never date me.

"Hey Ava do you wanna go somewhere else?" i ask.

"why?"

"can we please?"

"erm, ok."

i then grab her arm and pull her out of the coffee shop.

"what was that about?" she asks.

"just wanted to get out of there, thats all." i say trying to keep it cool.

"oh um ok then."

so after that we head off and end up eating at a Taco Bell. why i don't know but she said she was in the mood for tacos.

...

after a few hours i go to a store to buy flowers.

i end up picking up a dozen red roses.

i think she probably is still working since it has only been about 2 hours since i last saw her working.

so i then drive to starbucks.

...

i walk in the door. i don't see Dakota, so ask a girl with a name tag 'Caroline' on it.

"Hello, is Dakota working?" i ask.

"yes she is she is just getting something from the back. do you wanna see her?" she says.

"yes please."

she then walks off and i wait around for about 1 minute before i see the blonde haired girl with her hair in a bun.

"Louis what are you doing here?" she whispers to me.

"i just wanted to say, i'm sorry." i exclaim.

"oh um, thankyou."

"and would you please go out with me?" i say and hand her the flowers.

Dakota's POV

Erm, why was he asking me out?

i saw him with a girl like 2 hours ago.

this was really confusing.

was he gonna cheat on the other girl?

i didn't know.

i then here a squel.

i turn over to see Caroline jumping up and down.

"Dakota you have to say yes he is so cute." she whispers in my ear.

"please say yes." she whispers again.

now what was i going to do? i saw him with a girl not to long ago. and now my (only) friend was wanting me to do it. i didn't want to make Caroline upset so with out thinking.

"Yes i'll go out with you." i say.

he smiles and i take the flowers.

"great i'll pick you up next Saturday." he says.

"He was really cute." Caroline says.

"yeah i guess." i reply.

"what's wrong? you seem bummed?" she says.

"nothing." i reply.

"well ok then." she say with a dissapointed tone.

...

i arrive home after work and sit on the couch to watch a show.

i was tired. today was a really busy day after Louis left.

i hear my phone beep the number is unknown.

Unknown number: Hey;)

Dakota: Who is this?

Unknown number: Louis;)

Dakota: How did you get my number?

Unknown number: I came back after you left and asked Caroline for your number;)

Dakota: Why do you wink all the time?

Unknown number: Just cause...

Dakota: Cause?

Unknown number: You'll find out later;)

Later? what does he mean later? he can't mean what i think he means? what have i gotton myself into? i did not want his number in my phone. i ecpecially didn't want my number in his phone.

Dakota: Why are you even talking to me? haven't i made it hard enough to where you should leave me alone?

Unknown number: The chase is always fun.

How do i reply to that? well i wasn't.

did he really think that i wanted to date him and i was just playing 'hard to get'?

he acts really weird. does he think i wanna have sex with him?

with the whole 'you'll find out later;)' it does. i really hope thats not what he thinks.

or maybe it is.

maybe i should shutup and give him a chance.

ok.

i'll give him a chance.

i'm not gonna totally 'give my self up' but i'll try him.

who knows maybe he'll turn out diffrent then my last boyfriend.

and who knows maybe it was time to forget,

and move on.
