The Queen

Katherine woke up with a smile on her face. She rolled over to find she was alone in the bed. Sitting up quickly she noticed she was also alone in the room. She spotted a black dress draped over a chair. Beside it was a vanity with a note and a single rose. She smiled ear to ear and ran over to the vanity. She picked up the long stem rose and held it to her face inhaling its sweet aroma. The smell of roses always reminded her of when she was a child. Her mother taught her how to maintain the rose bushes and she would often nick her hands on the thorns trying to get as close as she could to smell them.

    "I can't believe he remembered." She replied to herself out load. She giggled and sat on the vanity stool to read the letter.

    Hello Love,

        I hope you enjoyed last nights festivities. We have much to discuss when you awaken. Please join me in the main hall for a "bite" to eat and we can discuss this "Queen of Hell" proposition. The demon in the hallway will show you the way.

    Katherine held the note against her lips for a moment smiling. She had never imagined she might be a queen some day. She had always been powerful, but now she had a chance of a lifetime. Her smile faded for a moment when she remembered the demon Meg. She had told Kat and Care that the Winchesters were coming with Cas and Elena. This could ruin her chances to be queen. Could even get her killed, who knew what powers Fergus, or Crowley had now. She wanted to get Caroline out of Hell as well. She would need a plan and fast. She got up quickly and ran to the bathroom to shower. When she finished she slid on the sexy black dress Crowley left out for her. She looked stunning as she stared at herself in the vanity mirror for several minutes. She curled her hair and applied her make up with vamp speed and kissed the reflection before strutting out the door. The hallway was empty so she decided to pay Caroline a quick visit so she knew she was okay. She sped down the hall and burst into the room startling Caroline.

    "Oh my god where have you been?" Caroline shouted angrily, but she seemed more worried than angry. Katherine smiled it was nice to know someone cared.

    "I was with Crowley." Katherine couldn't hide her grin. Caroline's jaw dropped.

    "You little slut!" She giggled. Katherine smiled and threw a pillow at Caroline. "So..." Katherine was shocked Caroline wanted to gossip instead of scold her. She never really had girl talk before. She sat on the bed and spilled the juicy details. She left out the part about being queen and the letter. Caroline was shocked and amused by the scandalous sex.

    "Listen Care, I'm getting you out of here, but I'm not going." Katherine was almost ashamed to tell her. Caroline's heart sank.

    "What? You can't be serious. You want to stay in Hell? Do you still have feelings for Fergus, or Crowley whatever?"

    "It's complicated, well not really. We both still have feelings for each other, and if I stay I can become a queen." Katherine said like a giddy school girl.

    "Yeah of Hell. Who wants to be queen of Hell?" Caroline scrunched her face.

    "It's not the same for me as it is for you Caroline. I've been on the run most of my life, hated by most of the people who know me, and now I'm believed to be dead. So basically on the run still and in hiding. If even one of my enemies knows I'm alive." Katherine paused a moment. Caroline's face drooped as she began to understand and feel sorry for Kat. "Fergus can protect me, hell maybe even give me more power." She replied excitedly. Caroline maintained her sad expression. Katherine placed her hand over Caroline's. "Look Care I have never bonded with someone the way I have with you. You're the only real friend I've had in centuries. I'll never forget that, and I promise we will stay in touch." Caroline grinned a little. "Who else can I share kinky sex stories with." Katherine smiled shoving Caroline lightly. Caroline tried not to laugh but failed. She gave Katherine a huge smile.
