CHPTR 2 - THE DREAM

"Ah hyung, where have you been? I've been looking for you. Come on, its starting." Says Jimin. Without delaying any seconds, Jin follows Jimin on the stage with the other members. They celebrating Jung Kook's birthday today with their lovely fans, A.R.M.Y. They were all having fun that evening. Before the meeting end, they remind A.R.M.Y to always be healthy and happy as it will give them happiness too.

In the car, Jimin and V started making weird noises which annoys Suga who was trying to sleep. But Suga didn't care because he is used to this situation. "Shut up." Says Jin while hitting them on their head with his hand. "Ouch" cried Jimin and V. Jung kook laughed saw them getting hit by the older hyung. "Ah hyung, where did you go before we started the fan meeting?" ask Jimin. "Oh, I went to the toilet. Why?" replied Jin. "I saw a girl running into the toilet while covering her face. What did you do?" says Jimin. Jin smile. Ah, that girl, mumbled Jin. "I did nothing. We bumped into each other and she fell on the dirt. I apologized but suddenly she ran into the toilet" explained Jin.

"What girl? Who? Is she an A.R.M.Y? There are too many girls in the crowd." ask Jung Kook. Jimin told Jung Kook the figures of the girl is really beautiful and her style really matched his ideal girl. V and Jung Kook were all paying attention to Jimin. Jin shake his head. "Jung Kook don't pay attention to girls and focus to your study. Jimin and V this doesn't mean you guys can have fun with girls. You guys are going to college right?" says Jin. They nodded and pouting at Jin's words.

I saw my mom with my dad talking to my dad happily. They tell jokes among themselves and laughing. The moment itself bring joy to me. Suddenly, the pictures blurred and an explosion happens. I saw my mother beside me, kissing me on my forehead before covered me with her scarf and gone from my sight. I opened my eyes widely as I wake up from the bad dream. It's the same dream again. I've always know the death of my parents. Their car get hit by a truck and crashed at the nearest tree. Luckily my mother and I were thrown out of the car. My father is stuck in his driver seat, my mother was about to help him out but the car explode leaving two dead bodies and a little girl wrapped by scarf in the nearest bushes.

I get up from my bed, looking at the clock. Its 4 in the morning. I cleaned myself from all the muddy traces. I'm too tired as soon as I reached home last night after visiting my grandfather. I'm heading to the kitchen and started making porridge for my grandfather. While stirring the porridge I keep thinking why my parent's dead become my nightmare? I've always know about the way they die. As I finished cooking it already 6.30 am. Quickly, I packed foods for my grandfather and heads outside of my house. Hyeon already waiting for me. I ran into the car and we went straight to the hospital.

I greeted my grandfather and prepares breakfast for him. "How are you Grandpa? Feeling well today?" I ask as I pour the porridge in his bowl. He reached the spoon on the table. "I'm good but I can't confirm that I will be healthy as before at this age." Say Grandpa, coughing.

"Don't be like that, you will live longer and healthier if you follows your diet." I sat down next to him. "Grandpa, I'm sorry for my rudeness before. I shouldn't act like that. I'm sorry." I beg. "Ah and yesterday, there are anonymous person were here visited you. I've never meet them before." I said.

My grandfather grins "Don't worry, I know I would have that reaction from you. Those people you've met yesterday is someone that is close to us yet so far. The elderly you saw sitting next to me is my younger brother, Lee Joong Ki. The woman with him is his daughter, Aunt Lee Hwa Sa, your father's cousin." Says Grandpa.

"Your brother? Why I've never meet them before?" I ask. "It is because they declared to cut their relation with the Lee family." Says Grandpa. I nodded.

"Grandpa, about your proposal that day, I've think it through and I've agreed to take over your position. I love you Grandpa, I don't want you to be sick because of my rudeness. I'm truly sorry about that day." I beg. Grandpa looks shocked. "Have you seriously think it through? I don't want you to feel burdened with the position. I will give you time, don't you worry." Concerns Grandpa. "No, no need. I've decided. It's okay. I can do it!" I said. "If you said so. I will have Secretary Yoo arranging things for you to prepare. Are you ready?" ask Grandpa. I stay still for a while before giving a light nod to my grandfather.

Hyeon dropped me at Paradise Café. I owned this café after I passed my examination in high school. I've always love to bake, making drinks and meeting people. My grandfather bought this café fully furnished for me. I'm very thankful to my grandfather. As I walk in the café, I could hear Ye Won screaming at the counter. I could see a tall man standing at the counter. He was wearing sweat pant and covered his head with hoodie. I ran towards Ye Won saw her passed out on the floor. The man help me to pick up Ye Won on a chair.

"What happen?" I ask the man. I can't see his eyes as he was wearing sunglasses. "I don't know. I just ordered one caramel macchiato and suddenly she screamed and fainted." Says the man. "Leave her here. Come, I will take your order." I said as I ran into the counter and started making caramel macchiato. "One caramel macchiato, ready." I said as I passed him his drink and receipt. Suddenly, Ye Won wakes up and start searching for someone. "Where? Where is he? Where is Rap Monster?" screamed Ye Won. Ye Won saw that man and approached him. "OMG!!! It really is Rap Monster! Oppa, can you please give your sign here?" ask Ye Won as she show him her notebook. "Ah, yes. But no picture." Says Rap Mon. Ye Won nodded and smiling shyly as if he just kissed her. Rap Mon bid her farewell before went into a black car and gone from our sight.

I looked at Ye Won. "Seriously? Passed out? Who is he by the way? He is handsome." I said. "Who is he? Who? He is Rap Monster. Leader of boy band group. Don't ask me which group. You went to their fan meeting yesterday, remember?" says Ye Won. I shut my mouth as tightly as I can. I don't really have interest in her k-idol life. But I love to hear her talking about her 'oppa'. I went inside the kitchen to set things up before lunch hour. It would be hectic if I didn't prepare the ingredients.

The ringing of the bell can be heard in the kitchen. Another hungry customer I guess. "Welcome miss, can I take your order?" ask Ye Won. "No thanks. I'm here to see Miss Victoria." Says the woman arrogantly. Ye Won quickly me called into the counter. I gasped as soon I saw aunt Lee Hwa Sa in front of me. "Hello miss, can I help you?" I asked. She smirks at me. "Can't we talk more privately?" ask aunt Hwa Sa.

As soon we have our sit, Ye Won gave us our drinks. "Thanks Ye Won." I smiled. Ye Won gave me warm chocolate drinks as she know I love chocolate the best when I'm nervous. I sip the chocolate drink before we start our conversation. "I heard you want to be the next heir of Lee's Company. Are you really thinks you can handle it yourself? Did you even have experience?" ask aunt Hwa Sa mockingly. "I'm sorry, did my decision upset you? Who are you to judge me?" I asked. "Hah, kids like you they want to make the next heir of the company? I would rather kill myself for seeing that company fall in the wrong hand!". "Did your grandfather wants the same thing happen 18 years ago? Did he forget how upset he was when your father decided to marry your mother and forgetting about the company? He must be crazy for trusting someone like you" aunt Hwa Sa said.

I grabbed my fist under the table as she was mocking my parents. Patiently I told her "Why would that be a mistake? The love each other. Shouldn't you marry the one you love? I can handle the company. You don't have to worry about it. If there is nothing more to say you can leave now." I says as I show her the door. She smirks at me, arrogantly get up. "You should burnt too" she says before she left my café. Quickly I drank all the warm chocolate drink to cover my feeling right now. For 13 years after the accidents this is the first time someone mentioning about my parents. I can't hold my tears. Ye Won came and comforts me with my favourite chocolate ice cream. That day ended with tears.
