Shaun's POV
"So, it's settled then. You're with us man. G4FIVE!" Justine raised his hand for a high-five.
"G4FIVE" I smiled.
I am currently on the cafeteria having lunch with my friend Justine and our band mates. Yes, I'm now part of a band.
If this is not cool, I don't know what is.
I saw Yssa from one of the tables with her friends.
Her friend is also beautiful, what's her name again? Oh, Jess, right.
But Yssa is a lot prettier than her. If only she'll let her hair fall down and remove her glasses then many boys will come lining for her. But I'm glad she never did. Because I'm the only person who should see that.
Selfish? Freaking yes I am.
I felt that sudden urge to punch the guy sitting next to her as he suddenly wrapped his handa around her.
Is that her boyfriend? Well I think he's no good for her, he looks like a player.

Yssa's POV
Thanks God, it's already last period. I am really freaking ready to go home. Tired as hell.
I organised my things and ran to my locker to put down my books.
"Hey Yssa" I heard someone called.
I closed my locker then turned around to chexk who it was.
It's Shaun. Why is he talking to me now?
"Y-yes Shaun?" ahh. Why am I even stuttering?
"Can I walk with you home?" he asked while scratching the back of his head.
Eh. Was he nervous?
"Why?" I asked amused.
"Uhmm...oh just forget I asked." he said grumpily and then walked away.
"W-wait Shaun!" I called.
He looked at me with that annoyed expression plastered on his face. "What?"
"Yes you can." I said. "We can walk home together."
His face relaxed before giving me that breathtaking smile.
Shit. Too bright. Too bright.
What a lovely creature.
"Let's go?" he said.
"Okay!"

We were walking on the sidewalk silently. Well, glad to say I wasn't feeling awkward towards him. The atmosphere between us is very comfortable.
Not.
"Sorry." he mumbled.
"What?" I asked.
"I want to apologise, Yssa." he whispered before turning sideways to look at me.
"For what?" I asked clueless.
"For teasing and annoying you." he inhaled deeply.
Wow. I thought he'll be giving me a hard time. It seems like he's not bad at all.
"No worries" I smiled at him.
"Really?" he looked shocked.
"Really." I confirmed.
"Can we be friends?"
"I'd love to."
***
Living in the same roof with Shaun is not that bad.
Yes, we do tease each other non-stop but it was all for fun.
Whenever he smiles, I feel butterflies in my stomach. Ugh. What did I just say? Oh, never mind.
It has been a month since then.
We walked together to school every day. And I am really glad to be friends with him.

Fast pacing. Yes. I'm kind of lazy to go on details.
So sorry for the grammatical errors and mispelled words.
Haha!
