Ch 31- Their Fairytale

Cesar's POV

That Shaun is such a show-off.

So much for their fairytale, it's time for the main event.

I'm on my way to Yssa when an interruption occurred.

"Good evening everyone!

I hope y'all having a good time. I must say that you all look good tonight."

The seniors were gathered in the center for that stupid interruption.

"And now, I am here to crown the Senior Prom King and Queen."

The whole place suddenly became quiet.

Stupid students who like to be crowned as kings and queens. Pathetic.

"The Senior Prom King is Mr. Shaun de Castro." the announcer said then the students applauded him.

"And now, our Senior Prom Queen is Ms. Alyssa Renee."

Yssa's eyes widened and she slowly made her way to the stage.

The students cheered for them.

"They really deserve it."

"Yes, they look like real royalties." I heard some girls whispering.

I smirked, I think this is the perfect time to reveal her identity.

I made my way through the crowd and got up on the stage.

The students looked at me in confusion but I don't care.

I grabbed the microphone and signaled for the other knights to come out.

"As expected, Alyssa Renee will be crowned tonight." I stated and Yssa looked at me with a confused expression.

"Cesar, what are you doing?" Jess shouted at me from the crowd.

"Wanna know a secret?" I started.

A furious Shaun glared at me like he's ready to punch me. Hilarious.

"But before that, I want to give you a little show." the knights surrounded the students with swords in their hands.

The crowd went devastated.

"Princess Althea Brielle, it's time for you to come home with me." I offered my hand.

"Why are you doing this Cesar?" Yssa cried.

"It's none of your business." I snapped.

"No, I'm the one who's asked to bring the princess to Emerald, not you!" Shaun blocked Yssa from me.

"I'm not taking him to Emerald, you idiot! I'm bringing her to Ruby."

"What?" Prince Nathan made his way through the people and is now holding the collar of my shirt.

"Yes Prince Nathan, so if you want your schoolmates to be safe, let the princess come with me." I smirked.

"No!" Nathan and Shaun said in unison.

"I'll go. But please release them." the princess stepped forward and look at me in the eyes.

"Good. And oh...don't you dare make any wrong move or else, blood will flow in this hall." I said to the two boys who were looking furious at me.

"Yssa, No!" Shaun looked helpless and that is what I wanted to see.

The knights dragged the princess out of the place.

Victory is mine.

Yssa's POV

The knights dragged me out of the room.

"Yssa, No!" Shaun protested.

It hurts to see him in pain but I have to do this.

I took my last glance at the people in there, my schoolmates, friends, and Shaun.

Jess, I don't want to see her cry but now she's crying because of me.

I'm sorry Jess.

Suddenly, a handkerchief was forcefully placed in my nose.

And everything turned into darkness.
