Yssa's POV
Days flew by so fast, and now we already have classes.
Someone bumped into me as I'm opening my locker that's why my eyeglasses fell on the floor.
"Oh, sorry Miss." then he handed me my glasses.
"It's okay." I smiled at him.
He didn't move from his place, so I guess there's something else that he wants from me.
"I'm new here and I don't know anyone, can you please show me around here sometime this week?" he pleaded.
I don't think I know him by name but he seems familiar.
"Yeah, s-sure." I answered with confusion.
"Great! I'm Cesar Williams." then he offered his hand for a handshake.
I hesitated but then accepted his hand nonetheless.
"Alyssa Renee, but you can call me Yssa."
"Nice to meet you Yssa! See you around." then he winked at me.
He's weird.

"Okay class, for today you'll be making an essay."
"What? Ms. Sheena, please give us a break." Angela, one of my classmates protested.
"You want a break? Detention's waiting for you with open arms."
"Just kidding Miss." then she smiled sheepishly.
"As I was saying..." Ms. Sheena was abruptly cut off in giving us instructions by the school intercom.
"Good morning everyone, this is the principal speaking.
Male senior students, please proceed to the conference room now.
I repeat, to all the male senior students, proceed to the conference room now.
That's all; you can continue your classes."
Then all my guy classmates went out of the room.
Shaun waved at me before disappearing in the crowd.
What's with the rush?

Shaun's POV
Damn.
30 days?
We'll be training for a month?
That's ridiculous.
"Can someone remind me why I need to do this?" I whined as I put on my bag pack.
"Shaun, all the seniors will be training, not just you. Chill bro!" Justine said.
"But I'll not see Yssa for a month. That's a total suicide." I muttered.
And then all my band mates guffawed.
"Your whipped man." Kenji tapped my shoulder.
"I guess, I am." I smiled sheepishly.
We were currently walking on this rocky path that will lead us to the campsite.
Everything's just crap. I mean, why do we have to do this? This ain't part of any high school curriculum.
Military training, seriously?

gracia's note:
It's freaking hot today.
I'm sweating like there's no tomorrow. Myghash!
