Queen and Diva

I liked it much better
When you were here,
When I could speak to you
And you were near.

I remember your laugh,
The way your nose scrunched up.
And sometimes I feel sad,
When I see your untouched coffee cup.

I remember our TV sessions.
Oh! How much fun we had!
I remember how you ate my food,
Even when I knew it was bad.

I remember how we stayed up late,
And all we did was talk.
We shared our darkest secrets
And promised to seal our lips with a lock.

We hated each other for a long time.
Yet only you know the real me.
I keep secrets from everyone else,
But there is not one part of me you haven't seen.

You wiped my tears
And held my hand all throughout.
I know you will be there till the end.
There's absolutely no doubt.

I don't know why
You call me the 'Sarcasm queen'.
But you are for sure 'The Diva',
Tall and pretty and lean.

Only a few more years,
Which I know will quickly pass.
So the next time you drink beer,
Don't forget to save me a glass.

You know, you're so busy with life that when someone who is very important to you leaves, you barely feel anything. You don't feel like you miss them much.

But then, you have those moments when you're doing something you used to do with them and it just hits you like bam! And you wish more than anything that they were right there with you.

I wish you were here sis, so we can watch tv and make fun of the actors...
