Dakudisento (The Dark Descent)

Chapter 8: Inner Demons

Kai, Tea, Thristan, Joey finally meet back into the vortex within the portal. They look at each other, they see the dirt, grim and wounds they had sustained at there journey. Kai didn't look so bad. Tea, looked exhausted, blood was all over her. Thristan, looked the worst. He had bruises, cuts, and blood all over his face. Joey looked fine other some dirt on his clothes. Everyone had there weapons and they were all happy to see each other again. The other end of the portal came into view. It got closer and closer and then there was a flash. The group found themselves in the room where they were taken into the portal in the first place. Tichina ran into the room with a hammer in hand.

"You damn rats I'll kill you!! Oh, it's you guys. Welcome back." Tichina said.

The group then fell down in a total exhaustion.

"Whoa you guys looked beat. Especially you Thristan, are you feeling alright?"

Everyone looked at Thristan who's face was beaten and bloody, where every one else just had little scraps and bruises and dirt.

"Yeah, I'll be fine." Thristan said trying to stand up but then slumming onto a wall.

"Whoa, take it easy Thristan. Let me go get Ginjo and Cassandra."

As Tichina ran off to get Ginjo and Cassandra, Everyone tries to stand up and gather there bearings.

"Damn my whole body is sore." Kai said.

"Yeah me too." Tea said.

"I'm confused, I didn't do anything but I'm exhausted." Joey said.

"You guys think your exhausted?" Thristan turns around and points at his bloody face. "Look at my face!"

"We get it." Kai said finally able to stand up.

"Kai can you help me up?" Tea asked.

"Yeah," Kai grabs Tea's arm and lifts her up. "There you go."

"Thanks."

Joey stands up. "Hey, Thristan, has your face always looked that ugly? Haha!"

"If I didn't feel like dying right now, I'd beat you to a pulp." Thristan said giving Joey a death stare.

"Guys relax." Kai said. He looks back at Tea and notices that her shirt was cut up and parts of her breasts were showing. Kai's face glows bright red. "Uhhh Tea...."

"Yeah?" She asked.

"Your uhh...." He gulps. "Your boobs are showing."

"Huh?" She looked down and say her exposed breasts. 'AHHHHH!!!!!" She quickly covers herself and falls onto her knees. 

Kai quickly takes off his shirt and hands it to Tea. She takes it and puts it on as the others looked away for her. After a few seconds everyone but Kai was then looking at Kai's body. 

"What?" Kai asked. 

Kai looked down at his body to find black veins in his body. 

"What the hell?" Kai said. 

Tichina arrives at the room with Gingo and Cassandra. 

"Here they are." Tichina said. 

"Great, your back." Ginjo said. 

"Is everyone alright?" Cassandra asked.

 "Yeah, as much as we can be." Joey said. 

Ginjo, Cassandra, and Tichina all looked shocked from the status of Thristan's face, Tea's tattered clothes and Kai's strange black veins in his stomach.
