Dakudisento (The Dark Descent)

Chapter 9: The First Mission

It's been three weeks since Kai, Tea, Thristan and Joey's return from there other journey through the portal. Since then they had been going through extensive training. Kai and Tea's relationship has been growing every day. There more friendly with each other and they don't fight...as much. But Kai and Tea's relationship is not the only couple forming. Kai and the gang where in the Mess Hall having a bowl of stew.

"A date?!" Tea yelled.

"Yup. With Cassandra." Thristan said.

"How the hell did you manage that? How old is she anyway?" Kai said.

"Well you know when Cassandra took me to the infermary for furthur treatment awhile back? Well during my treatment, we talked for a bit. She really cool and I asked her if she'd like to go out with me. She's 19 by the way."

"And what did she say?" Joey asked.

"What is it today? Sunday? She said next Friday at the city of Tesuz. Where ever that is."

"Tesuz is a floating isle. A floating island that rests above the clouds." Joey said casually then taking a sip of the stew juices.

Kai, Tea and Thristan stared at him shocked that he knew of such a place.

"What? I've had quite some time to myself so I went to there Library and did some research. Oh and get this! Each part of this world, Kojinko, has different time fluxuations." Jooey said.

"How so?" Kai asked.

"You know how on ground level there time line seems to be back in the middle ages? Well in the city of Tesuz, the time flux there is in the furture. Like in our world how we would think the future would be? It's that future. Floating cars. Lasers as fire arms. The whole bit."

"That's amazing."

"Well how the sea?" Tea asked.

"The time flux goes forward also. It seems like the cities in our world that we would think would only exist would be in future. So in this world they do exist but you have to go through time fluxuations. But what I find curious is this. The building and structures of each time flux matches what they would be like at that certain time. But, the technology in each one are all the same. They all have some amount of resources to build amazing things."

"So wait is there a city underwater too?" Kai asked.

"Theres many of them. Theres about 10 civilian cities and one major military city. That city is called Zuto."

"That's pretty cool man." Kai said.

"Yeah, it's nice to finally learn something about this world." Tea said.

"What the hell?" Thristan said.

"What is it Thristan?"

"We were talking about me and my accomplishment of getting a date! Not a history lesson."

Kai hits Thristan upside the head.

"Don't be selfish!!" Kai yelled.

"Owww...that hurt." Thristan said holding his head.

Ginjo walks up to them with Tichina clinging on to him.

"Hello everyone." Ginjo said in a happy tone.

"Ginjo." Joey said.

"Nice to see you again Ginjo." Kai said.

"Yeah." Thristan said.

"Hey Ginjo. How was the date with Tichina?" Tea said putting an emphasis on 'Tichina'.

Tichina let's out a girly giggle and Ginjo starts to blush with one of his hands behind his head.
