Deeper and deeper Asgarik lead the group into Darkwood. The deeper they went, the darker the woods became. It was nearly pitch black and Kai had to light a torch to be able to follow Asgarik. But then a deep green glow was starting to apear further down the woods.
"WE ARE ALMOST THERE HUMANS. STEP LIGHTLY." Asgarik said.
At the source of the green glow was another open plain but a huge shine in the middle, with torches giving off the ominous green glow. In the middle of the plain was a large stone throne covored in moss, branches and leaves. Sitting on the throne was a four story tall oak tree monster. Grandulfar. It looked old. Worn down but still strong. It also had grey looking viens on what must be a chin making it look like it had a long beard. By the throne was another tree monster just like Asgarik but it's leaves where darker and more worn. It saw the group entering the plain and approuched them and stood in front of Grandulfar.
"HALT! WHO DARES DEFIALS THE PRESENCE OF GRANDULFAR!?" Said the tree monster.
"CALM YOURSELF BROTHER GASNARIK. I HAVE COME WITH GUESTS." Asgarik said.
"GUESTS? WHAT GUES- HUMANS!? YOU BROUGHT HUMANS TO THIS PLACE?! HOW DARE YOU DEFIAL THE SANCTITY OF DARKWOOD! I SHOULD KILL YOU WHERE YOU-!" Gasnarik was interupted.
"GASNARIK! THAT'S ENOUGH. STEP ASIDE." Grandulfar ordered.
"YES, MASTER GRANDULFAR."
"GO ON." Asgarik said to the group.
Kai, Tea, Thristan and Joey all got off there hourses and approunched Grandulfar.
"SO. THIS IS A RATHER SMALL GROUP OF HUMANS TO COME AND KILL ME." Grandulfar said.
"We are not hear to kill you Grandulfar. We are hear mierly to ask for a truce and partnership with The Order." Kai said.
"AND WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THAT? ALL YOU HUMANS DO IT DESTROY AND KILL OUR PRECIOUS WOODLANDS. AND YOU EXCPECT ME TO HELP YOU?"
"We are not the cause of all the destruction. You are aware of the demon menace that has risen up are you not?"
"I AM AWARE. ARE IT IS BECAUSE OF YOU HUMANS ACTIONS THAT HAS LEAD YOU TO THIS. AND BECAUSE OF THAT YOU FIGHT AND WAGE WARS ON OUR LAND AND DESTROY EVERYTHING!"
Grandulfar was getting agitated and angry. Banging his fist on the arms of his throne.
"And we don't want to have to. I have a solution to this problum."
"THE DEMONS ALREADY TRIED MAKING A, SO CALLED 'SOLUTION', BY USING FORCE. THEY WERE QUICKLY DESTROYED."
"We do not wish to use force nor do we intend to use force. I have a proposition for you."
"AND WHAT IS IT THAT YOU PROPOSE?"
"NO! WE WILL NOT MAKE A DEAL WITH THESE VILE HUMANS!" Gasnarik said.
"QUITE GARNARIK! SPEAK OUT OF TURN AGAIN AND WATCH WHAT HAPPENS."
Gasnarik grew silent and backed off.
"PROCEED HUMAN." Grandulfar said.
"I have a strong word of the humans. If you turn your army, your power to the human cause and aid us in the fight to irradicate the demnon spawn, I promise you. Your forests and woodlands will be preserved and protected from any harm." Kai said.
"HMMMMM..." Grandulfar thought deeply as he stroked his grey vieny beard.
"YOUR NOT ACTUALLY THINKING OF HELPING THE HUMANS ARE YOU?" Gasnarik said.
