"We'll have to...kill Sam." Silence confirmed my theory, loud and clear. I could see Sam sitting in a room to my left. His eyes had dark circles around them, as if he hasn't slept in days, probably because of the whole eyes glowing thing. He really didn't know anything about what was happening inside him. "We can't!" I said. "It's the only way. We can't destroy energy. We must do it." said Clover. "No!" "Listen, Melvin I'm sure he would understa-" "He is a freakin' ten year old whose life you are about to take and you expect him to understand?!" There was silence. That is when I realised that Sam probably heard me say that. I looked to my left and saw him staring. "We are not hurting him. We'll figure something out." I whispered. Suddenly, my vision blurred out but I caught something in the nick of time. Sam's eyes lit up for a second and then stopped. Then I comprehended what was happening. I was about 5 meters in the air! I did not feel anything pulling or pushing me up, rather, I remembered feeling my own calf muscles throwing me up in the beginning. I had read that our muscles are way stronger than we think. Our jaw muscles can at any time apply over 200 pounds of force but feeling the power was very different. I could feel a very sharp pain everywhere on my legs. I saw that everyone else had jumped too. But why did that thing inside Sam make us jump?....Oh. Dang. Thought I as I began plummeting. 5 meters is almost equivalent to falling 2 floors. Fortunately, I knew how to direct my force forward by rolling over and so did most people in the HQ. A few fell and broke their ankles. Wait a minute. If this happened to everyone in the world...
Making sure that Clover was okay, I ran to the nearest window and I was horrified. I could see many people in pain and a few even...dead. Those who had flipped over and hit their head on the ground. It was a massacre. Mom...dad...Kevin...I averted my eyes as soon as I could. I began looking inside the building again. But the building brought with it greater discomfort. It made me realise that Sam's fate had now been sealed. Samuel Windsor was about to die....No. No he won't. There must be another way. I thought hard. An alternate theory began to form. I had figured it out! Help US. Not me! The aliens were in everyone! Why did we find them only now? Well, it was because of the Alpha. If these things were like data on a computer, connected to each other then there must be a server. And that server was...Sam. When it realised Sam had found potential help, it decided to provide some deadly motivation. Sam must contain the leader of all the aliens. That is why his eyes were not glowing the whole time! Just long enough to send the signal. I saw General heading to where Sam was, ominously. I could make out that he was about to give Sam some really bad news. "Stop!" I shouted and then I explained my theory. "You could be right. But what do you suggest we do?" That is when I realised, I hadn't thought of that. And when I did, I did not like what I had done. Now, we had a more powerful reason for having to kill Sam. We destroy the server and they can no longer communicate. End of story. I fell to my knees and put my head in my hands...
