Chapter 28

6 months later... 

Aaliyah POV: 

It's been six months since Wes and I have been married. We had a blast at Vegas, just spending one on one time with eachother and going to some Vegas shows, we don't really like gambling that much, but we did watch sometimes. We want to go back soon, and maybe bring along some of our friends for a group date. That would be fun. Wes and I also spent our first holidays together, and we both spent some time up in Washington with his family, that I haven't met yet, our valentines day was perfect, we went back up to washington and spent a week in Seattle, and the mountains. I really do love his homestate, but I wouldn't like to live there it's too cold. 

Wes and I were up in our room, watching some TV before we go to bed, our normal thing, we always watch those comedy, and drama shows. I actually got him into watching Secret life with me, even though the show ended a while back, and they show re-runs.

"I just have to ask you one thing." I said during a commercial break.

"What?" 

"Has everyone been asking you about starting a family with me?" 

"Yes, they have. Especially my mom." I hear him sigh a little bit.

"Well what do you think?" 

"I think that we should wait until you are finished with college. It would be a lot of stress for you don't you think?" 

"Stress with what? I think I could make it work." 

"Well the stress of you doing your homework, and taking care of the baby while I'm not here, who knows I might be in the studio some late nights. Isn't your eduaction important to you?" 

"Yes, it is. I really want to do well, but we do have lots of support around here, with your mom and our friends. I'm sure they'd love to help out." 

"Yes I see what you're saying, but don't you think that taking care of the baby would be a distraction for you?"

WESLEY POV: 

I knew this was going to come up sooner or later, but I didn't think it was going to happen so fast. Everyones been asking me, about starting a family and I just don't think that were ready for all that yet.I mean I'd love to have kids one day but Aaliyah has goals she wants  to achieve, and with all of that going on I don't want her to have to put that all on hold. She is right about the support, but it just doesn't seem right right now we both have a lot going on, and were still young we have lots of time to start a family.
