Chapter 9

WESLEY POV:

I feel bad that I'm leaving Aaliyah back at home when she's upset, This meeting at the studio is very important so that we can get things going with our next album, plus I'll be gone for a couple hours. I'm not even mad at what Drew said to her I'm not going to get in the middle of that, Aaliyah and Drew will be talking again soon anyways.

Wesley went into the studio and noticed that Drew wasn't there yet, typical. Drew got there 15 minutes later and the boys didn't even say a word to eachother and went to work. A few hours go by and they get to take a break.

"Hey Wesley I hope you're not mad at me for what I said to your girlfriend and all."

"It's okay man, I can't stay mat at you forever, you're my best friend."

"Is she upset?"

"She was upset, but everything is better now. Don't you think you should apologize to her?"

"Yeah I was planning on it, I was worried that you were mad at me."

DREW POV:

Thank god that he's not mad at me for that, and everything. Even though I kind of don't like her for all the things she's done in the past I do feel bad that I could've have ruined a really good relationship and friendship with my best friend. Now I just need to figure out a way to get Aaliyah to talk to me.

"So before all of this happened, I was planning on having some of the guys from Washington, you and I could all go surfing." I said trying to prevent the awkwardness that was happening.

"That would be really awesome, we need to all get together and just chill for the weekend."

"Yeah so when do you think would be an okay time to do that?"

"Maybe next weekend, Aaliyah and I planned on doing some things this weekend."

The guys went back into the studio for a little while, and went home.

WESLEY POV:

That was nice that Drew was concerned about Aaliyah after he upset her, I knew that he didn't mean what he said. I'm super excited that Drew was planning on having the guys from Washington come down and surf with us. I haven't seen those guys in so long.

Wesley pulled into the driveway and walked in the house and went upstairs to their bedroom to talk to Aaliyah about the studio session.

I just can't wait to tell her how everything went, she was laying in bed sleeping. i'll tell her the news when she wakes up.

A couple hours go by and Aaliyah wakes up, and goes downstairs to see if Wesley came back from the studio with Drew.

AALIYAH POV:

I walk downstairs and Wesley on his phone, and listening to the TV, I hope he's not on Instagram because then I won't be able to talk to him, that's been his new obsession lately, and I just don't understand it.

"Hey Wesley." I said trying to get his attention.

"Oh you're up from your nap, did you have a good sleep?" He said putting his phone away.

"Yeah just a little bit, I've just been a little tired these past few days."

"I'm sorry babe, hopefully you'll get back to sleeping again soon."

"It's alright. How was your studio session with Drew?" I said emphasizing his name.

"Actually it wasn't too bad, awkward at first but we were talking about going surfing next weekend with the guys and all since we haven't seen eachother in ages."

"Oh that's nice you get to catch up and tell them all about your tour, are we still hanging out this weekend?"

"Of course we are. The whole weekend will be you and I."

WESLEY POV:

I told her the good news and she didn't seem to be enthused about me going surfing next weekend with my friends. It's not like she'll have a good time surfing all day long and plus when she goes with Drew, Keaton, and I she just sits and plays in the sand. I do need my break with just the guys too. She is being pretty needy right now, and we spend so much time together, I just don't know why she's been acting like this these past couple of months.
