Chapter 8

Drews POV

We're finally back home and all, it's been a couple days and I still haven't unpacked anything from our trip. I still want to go surfing with Wesley and Keaton and some of the guys from back in Washington. That would be pretty sick. I just need to get Wesley to agree to hang out with me without Aaliyah. Shes been bothering me and caused all the drama between them and I had to hear it. I was so sick and tired of seeing my best friend upset over a girl who is too insecure, when her boyfriend loves her so much. Maybe if I talked to her, she would tell me why she did all of that.

Drew picked up his phone and called Aaliyah she picked up a few seconds later.

"Drew? Is that you? Wesley is getting ready for the day, and he'll be done in a little bit. If that's why you're calling."

"No, I didn't call for Wesley. I called to talk to you."

"Why? Wait, what's going on?"

"Was all that some sort of act to keep Wesley around or what?"

"What are you talking about?"

"The whole time Wesley was gone? You were just too upset to not be around him. Were you trying to make him feel sorry for you?"

"You don't know anything Drew. What I felt was real. You two were gone for a couple of months! I don't know what Wesley could have done behind my back." She started to sound upset.

"He loves you, and would do nothing to hurt you. What were you so afraid of? He was going to find another girl?"

"He might have. You never know, you two could have gotten drunk and things happen and it'd be all over the internet."

"Well it didn't happen did it?"

There was silence on the other line. .Aaliyah hung up.

Aaliyahs POV

Wow, I have NEVER ever had a conversation with Drew like that. It surprises me that he'd want to get so involved in my relationship with Wesley. It makes me sick to my stomach everytime someone mentions Wesley and how much he loves me, and all I did was get upset that he'd flirt with another girl.

After a couple of minutes of crying, and I'm sure my face is all red I picked up the remote to the TV to find something to watch to keep me from crying.

Wesley POV:

I walked into our room to say goodbye to Aaliyah and I see her just laying in bed, and it looked like she was crying?

I wonder what the heck happened, she normally doesn't look like this.

I walked over to our bed and sat there for a second just looking at her.

"Aaliyah what happened? Why's your face all red? Were you crying?"

"Nothing happened, don't worry about it."

"No, I'm not going to not worry about it. When my girlfriend is laying in bed looking like you are now, i'm going to be worried."

"It's stupid, I'll get over it later, don't you have somewhere to go?"

"No, I'm sure it's not stupid. Did someone say something to you?"

"You can say that I guess."

"Okay, who was it? Was it one of our fans?"

"No it wasn't your fans. Your fans are amazing, kind, and everything positive."

"Who was it? I want to know what's making you upset."

"You really want to know? It was your good friend Drew."

"What did he say to you that could make you so upset?"

"He thinks that me missing you while you were on tour was all an act."

"Why would he say something like that? I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it."

"I don't know, you can ask him if you want." She said while turning back to the TV.

"I'm not going to. I'm sure Drew didn't mean anything by what he said it was probably something he said while in the moment."

"Okay. Where are you going anyways?"

"I'm meeting Drew at the studio for a couple hours to work on things for our next single."

"Okay have fun." She said sarcastically.

"I will, and if you get upset again I'll have my phone with me so call or text me if you need to."

I got up and went to kiss his Aaliyah goodbye, and left the house.

Drew POV

She hung up on me, what the heck did I just do? I'm meeting Wesley in a few minutes, and if he knows about the conversation I just had with his girlfriend, I'm going to be in trouble. All I wanted was to talk to her, and I took it way too far. I really don't want to lose a friend, my career over this.

I went on twitter to post a #TeamInspire quote to all my followers to keep some positivity in the world. Even though I'm not having a good day at all. As I was scrolling down my tweets on my timeline I saw a tweet from Aaliyah. Even though I woke up to a horrible phone call this morning I have the best boyfriend anyone can ask for. <3 @wesleystromberg

Oh my god, he knows and I hope he's not mad at me for getting in the middle of their relationship.
