Chapter20

AALIYAH POV:

Drew is still pissing me off, and Wes and I aren't getting any planning done. I'm just so frustrated because for the past couple of weeks that's all he's ever done is take Wesley away and he seems to be okay with it. I'm thinking of doing all of this myself and if Wesley doesn't like what I plan then whatever. Drew and Wesley went downtown leaving Keaton and I back at the hotel.

WESLEY POV:

I'm hanging out with Drew out downtown and of course Aaliyah didn't want to go with us. Were going shopping for our new clothes for our show tonight.

"Aren't you kind of bored talking about weddings and stuff like that?"

"No not really I haven't had much time to since we're on tour and I hardly see her. We do know we want to get married on the beach."

"Do you even know when you're having it?"

"No, we haven't set a date or anything yet. We do know we wanna get married after we get back from this tour."

"Ahh nice whose all gonna be there?"

"We don't know we tried talking about it a couple days ago, and it didn't seem to work out.

As we were leaving I see one of my Exs from many years ago walk by.

"Hey Wes!" she said waving at me.

"Hey what's up?"

"Just some shopping, how've you been?"

"Been busy with my music and touring."

"That's good, you know I heard that you're engaged now."

"Yeah we got engaged a while back, and hopefully when we get back to Cali we're gonna get married."

"Aw that's really sweet. I'm happy for you and her. You seem like a sweet couple."

She gave me a hug and we went our seperate ways. That was a little weird, wasn't expecting to see her here at all.

I got back to the hotel that night in hopes that Aaliyah didn't somehow find out that my Ex was talking to me. I walked in and started kissing her.

"You'll never believe who Drew and I ran into today."

"Who?"

"Well one of my Ex's from a couple years ago."

"Oh god, what happened? Does she hate me or anything?"

"No, but she is happy for us.

"Oh well that's good well you know I did want to talk to you about something."

Oh no this can't be good.

Ever since we left Miami we haven't really done any planning, we don't have a date set or anything. I'm also getting really annoyed with you partying every city we go to."

"I know you can come with us you know."

"I don't like it when you party like that Wes. It's unnesscary."

"Sorry I'll be more involved with the planning. You know what will be a really good date? August 1st."

"I was thinking of an August wedding too.

"Well see now we've got that out of the way, and when you get back you and Emily can plan the rest of it."

"Yeah she's been asking me about everything for a while now. Plus you're busy with your career and all. "

"Well I can't wait to see this all together on August 1st."
