I walked onto the campus with everything that I thought I needed, clothes, electronics, accessories, etc. I was practically bursting with excitement to see my room and meet my roommate until it actually happened. I opened the door quickly to see my EX-best friend Alex making out with Taylor Lautner. She finally took a breath to see that I was her roommate. You can only imagine the look on her face considering that things did not end well. She quickly shooed Taylor out and told him to call her then shut the door in his face. "I swear this is so not happening! God dammit!" She screamed. "Okay, just calm down Lex, I know things ended badly but that doesn't need to last forever, we could just talk it out?" She looked like I was crazy but then she started laughing like a mad scientist who had just invented the cure to cancer or something. "You think I still need you? My boyfriend is TAYLOR LAUTNER!" She bragged on and on. Like I should care that she was dating a celebrity that I didn't even like. I was starting to think that she missed me, because I was the only friend that listened to her for real. So as she kept on rambling I just sat there, listening, hoping that she was forgetting what I did to her. Just then, she stopped talking, walked over to me, and just hugged me hard, just like she used to. "I missed being able to talk to someone, are we good?" she asked. I replied instantaneously, "Absolutely, I missed you sooo much Lex." We spent the rest of the day unpacking and having clothing wars, where we would find some awkward clothing item and try to fling it onto each other. She beat me like no tomorrow. We got coffee, took a walk, and then had a dance party until like 10:30. Then, right in the middle of my favorite song, her phone rings. "Ooh, it's Taylor!" she jumped. "Ooh, exciting." I replied in a mimicking tone. She walked out of the room, talking quickly back and forth with her little celebrity boyfriend. I just laughed, I forgot how much I missed her. After I totally stabbed her in the back and we stopped being friends, I sort of just ignored any thoughts of her. But now that we're friends again I hope we can just forget about past mistakes. After all, we had been friends since kindergarten, so I don't think we'll have too much trouble. Then she finally walked out of her room and jumped up with a giant smile on her face. "He said he has a surprise for me, and to meet him the corner of Winston and Harney tomorrow at 3:30!" She excitedly rushed up to tell me. "Yah that's great and all but I'm like, about to fall over I'm so exhausted, so can we call it a night?" I pleaded. She just agreed and left me alone sitting on the couch while she got ready for bed. I quietly brushed my teeth and took out my contacts. Then I went to go change into something comfortable to sleep in since all my real pajamas were the ones that were now in a heap on the living room floor. So I just put on some sweatpants and a tank then climbed into bed and practically fell asleep right away.
