Intro 2: Neji's Death

TenTen's POV

"NEJI-KUN WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING THERE?!" I screamed my loudest as I could as I saw Neji on the rooftop one inch from falling. I prevented myself from tears. "It's suicide," Ino muttered. "What else would it be? No harness. No nothing," Shikamaru said. "NEJI-KUN STOP!!! PLEASE!!!" I begged as tears fell. Neji just smiled and looked at me.

He gave me a sign with his hand out. As if he was saying "Fight Me" or "Come up here" since I couldn't hear him. I went on the emergency stairs and ran my heart out. I was afraid Neji tricked me. So I wouldn't see him die. But he didn't. He stayed in his position.

"Neji-Kun why are you doing this?" I asked him. He turned to face me and wiped my tears with is hand. "TenTen-Chan... The world was too great for me. So please, don't follow me and live on. Maybe we'll see each other again when you grow old," Neji said. I cried and hugged him burying my face in his chest.

"Please don't do it Neji-Kun! Please!" I sobbed. I felt him pat my back and rest his chin on my head. "When I'm gone, I'll be watching over you from above, TenTen-Chan. I want you to stay happy. Keep Lee-Kun and Guy-Sensei happy. Make sure, that they still believe in their youth even without me. Make sure that everyone stays the same without me. As their happy self," Neji said.

"And, can you smile for me before I go? TenTen-Chan?" Neji asked. I nodded and tried to smile. But it soon turned into a frown and I continued sobbing.

This was his goodbye note....

"Neji-Kun, why won't you stay with us? Why will you leave through death and never come back?!" I asked him. He just kissed my forehead and held my hand. "Don't ever forget the last words I told you, TenTen-Chan," Neji said. I nodded.

There was no stopping him now...

"I love you, TenTen-Chan."

Neji soon fell to the ground and I couldn't stop him. But in his last minute. I saw him drop with a smile on his face. I fell to my knees and saw his sandals. It was suicide. I picked them up and clutched them close to my chest as I cried my heart out.

"TenTen-Chan!" I heard multiple voices call me. I turned to look behind me. I saw Hinata, Lee, Guy, and Hinabi out there with tears in there eyes. I said I heard multiple people calling my name. My ears are still ringing with Neji's last words to me.

I ran up to the four hugging them with no words. I cried my heart out again. "Neji-Kun's gone!" I cried out. "His last words, TenTen-Chan. Tell me his last words!" Hinata said in sadness. "We miss Neji-Kun, we want to hear what he said to you!" Hinabi said. I nodded and released them from the hug.

I repeated every word that Neji told me. Everything but his last words to me. "We must do as Neji-San wants us. And that is to be our normal selves," Guy said. Rock Lee nodded. "If that is what he wishes, even though we will grieve for a while. We must complete his last wish," Hinata said. Hinabi nodded.

But I sat on the cold ground silent. I didn't want to be my happy self I couldn't. If Ndji was gone, then I couldn't do anything about it. Even though I, loved him back. I still couldn't do what he asked. I couldn't just smile through Neji suiciding.

"Now, we must go and embrace our youth. As Neji-Kun has died young," Guy said. I forced myself to nod and go down the stairs. I took a look at Neji's dead body. Tears fell out of my eyes and I ran away. I didn't want to see him dead. I never wanted to see him die, either!

All of a sudden I found a large cave in the middle of a plain grassland. It didn't have any symbols or evil seals so I went inside. "Hello?" I called out. "Oh so your the grieving girl from the suicide not far from here! TenTen-San. Correct?" Someone asked and cam out of the shadow. But he was wearing a cloak with a few emblems and symbols.

"Y-Yes," I said slowly, stuttering in fear. "I can bring your friend back to life," the gruff voice said. My eyes widened. But, would Neji have wanted that?

"P-Please tell me how!" I said. The man chuckled and said his instructions. "In order to get him back, relive all your memories with Neji. One small thing. On the day he died, prevent him from dying," the man said. It seemed too simple. Before I could think about it, the man touched me with his ring and everything was pitch black.

I woke up in a children's sandbox. With little fingers and little legs. I think I was a baby. Because I was wearing pink Chinese clothing instead of my white and red kind.

"Hey are you okay? That kid Sasori-Kun just kicked you in the sandbox!" I heard a familiar voice say. "Who are you?" I asked as I felt sand in my tongue.

"I'm Neji."
