Quick author not before I start. I know I know, some of the Jutsus I use for TenTen are Sai's freaking Jutsus. And yes I made up some. But both Sai and TenTen use fuinjutsu and I made some of them up because I forgot about most of the Jutsus. Sorry. Back to the story!
Present TenTen's POV
"H-Hinata-Chan?" I asked myself. I watched as the memory was put in place as I watched. I even forgot this. And this should be critical since Hinata was always a fragile girl that could barely fight. At this time, at least. Neji adored her all the time and called her "Hinata-Sama" all the time. And it wasn't because she was part of the main branch of the Hyūga clan. It was because Neji had a crush on her ever since. Or, at least I thought so. Maybe the first reason was why.
"Hinata-Sama!" Neji exclaimed as Hinata was trying to scream for help but her mouth was muffled by the risk of a purple snake. She was wrapped in the same snake. Her face was turning blue almost as if it was choking her. "Hinata-Chan!" TenTen exclaimed and grabbed a shuriken from her bag and aimed directly at the snake's head. Of course, it moved as quick as a viper and TenTen ended up missing.
"I...missed?" She asked herself. Orichimaru was just watching as the large purple snake holding Hinata was from his mouth. Gross... "I'll handle this, TenTen-Chan. I don't need you getting hurt, too," Neji said. TenTen scoffed and crossed her arms. "Then why would you bring me here Neji-Kun?!" TenTen complained. Neji sighed. "You want to do something useful? Fine! Use on of your beast summoned snakes to retrieve Hinata-Sama! That's it! Don't get yourself hurt!" Neji said and charged himself at Orichimaru. "Byakugan!" I heard Neji say.
"Ugh, Neji-Kun keeps on getting to do the awesome stuff. He keeps the scroll, fights against the prodigy Sasuke-San, wait..the scroll!" TenTen said muttering to herself. "Neji-Kun the Earth scroll!" TenTen yelled. Neji looked back at TenTen but it was another mistake. Orichimaru struck him but Neji quickly jumped high in the air. But the purple snake wouldn't stop and started to chase him mid-air. Neji quickly grabbed the scroll from his back and tossed it at TenTen. She quickly caught it and took out her beast summoning scroll.
She took out her paint brush and black paint as she focused chakra to her had and started painting the same black snake that was formed. She quickly performed the hand seal.
"Beast Summoning Jutsu!"
Then the snake came out in quite a large form that could match the size of the purple snake that has tied up Hinata. The purple snake was separated from Orichimaru's mouth and turned into it's own so Orichimaru could focus on fighting Neji. As soon as the ink snake came out of the scroll, it tried to bite the purple snake, and it succeeded. But it only lead to the two snakes fighting and now that Hinata was released. She came running to TenTen with fear in her eyes.
"TenTen-Chan! What's happening to Neji-Kun? I got separated from Kiba-Kun and Shino-Kun! I need to get back with my team or else we won't pass when we get to the tower!" Hinata said sounding frantic. "It's okay. Hinata-Chan calm down," I told her. "Hinata-Chan? Where are you?!" I heard a voice call out Hinata's name. Kiba. He soon came out of the darkness with Shino at his side.
"Kiba-Kun! Shino-Kun! Orichimaru-San tried to kill me!" Hinata said. Kiba nodded. "I'm glad your okay, Hinata-Chan. One of the teams were killed by that guy. We better get going before he kills one of us. Who knows how old he is? And maybe he"/ a Chūnin or Jōnin trying to kill us," Kiba said. Shino and Hinata nodded in agreement. They started running away. But Hinata stopped. "TenTen-Chan? Your not running away?" Hinata asked. TenTen looked at Neji fighting Orichimaru. TenTen shook her head. Hinata sighed and caught up with her teammates.
"TenTen-Chan! Your orders were to free Hinata-Sama and leave!" Neji said trying to keep his focus on the fight with Orichimaru. TenTen cringed. "Neji-Kun I'm not letting you fight a guy that killed a whole team!" TenTen yelled. "Well I'm not letting you get hurt!" Neji said performing a hand seal. His right hand started glowing in a light blue color. Wind started howling as it blew TenTen away into the forest. It wasn't long before she was 100 yards away from where Neji was at as she hit a tree. She winced in pain and soon got up.
