Memory 10: Chūnin High School Age: 15

Present TenTen's POV

"That's crazy! What about missions, Gai-Sensei?" Rock Lee asked when he heard the news about the new program the 5th Hokage made. "Yes. A high school," Gai said. TenTen frowned. "More school?" She asked. Gai nodded as he smirked. "And, there are school uniforms. Girls are required to wear skirts and dresses," Gai said. TenTen's eyes widened.

Gai handed the three the uniforms which was green and white. Green for Konoha. White because it surprisingly goes well with green. "Awe man!" TenTen complained and went in the tiny girl's bathroom as Neji and Rock Lee changed in the room as Gai left.

After a few minutes TenTen had her hair in two Chinese buns and she had freshened up. "You look great TenTen! Better than me..," Rock Lee said and frowned at his green pants and white polo. TenTen laughed. "If you want we can trade! You wear the skirt and I wear the pants!" TenTen exclaimed. Rock Lee yelped. "No!" He yelled.

"Just get used to it. We'll always be having school now. Besides, we may see Hinata-Sama..," Neji said. TenTen cooed in a lovey dovey way. "OOOH! You love her!" I exclaimed. Neji quickly blushed and crossed his arms. "O-Of course not. She loves Naruto," Neji said. Rock Lee laughed and put his hand son TenTen's and Neji's shoulders.

"If Hinata's taken, you two can date while I date Sakura-Chan!" Rock Lee exclaimed. TenTen glared at him. Rock Lee quickly backed away releasing his hands from his shoulders. "Ah I would rather have Sakura-Chan hit me..," Rock Lee said fantasizing. My eyes widened as TenTen hit him with a giant scroll. "Weirdo!" She exclaimed.

Team Gai walked over to the large high school with so many ninjas there wearing the same uniform as them. "Hey! Sakura-Chan!" Rock Lee said drifting off into his world of Shinobis and Kunoichis while TenTen and Neji were just standing s the front of the gates, confused with all the socialization and chatter going on.

"This is... High School?" Neji asked clearly confused. TenTen sighed in disappointment. "Hai," she replied glumly carrying a big scroll on her back like a backpack. She just stood there with Neji, very confused on what to do in a place like this. "Maybe we should try and do what Rock Lee's doing," TenTen suggested pointing to Rock Lee trying to attempt to talk to Sakura.

Neji shrugged. "Maybe we should go and console Hinata-Sama then," Neji said. TenTen nudged his arm with her elbow as the two walked to the shy Hyūga sitting on the bench eating a rice ball. "H-Hello Neji-niisan, TenTen-Chan," Hinata's greeted shyly. Neji and TenTen sat next to her.

"I don't know what else to do here, Hinata-Sama," Neji said. Hinata nodded. "I guess we're all here to wait for the senseis," Hinata said. TenTen nodded. "It seems like a waste of time if all of us came here early," TenTen said. A loud gong rang as everyone pulled out a blue book. Rock Lee soon joined Neji and TenTen as the team walked into the classroom with a 1 sign on top of the doorframe. Before that, we went to our lockers where we got all the textbooks stuffed in our backpacks. I just had to do a jutsu and put it inside my scroll. Though it got really heavy. Now we walked back to the classroom 1.

The sensei, Kakashi, had greeted us. This class, was all about chakra control and focusing. TenTen gladly took her seat next to Neji and Rock Lee. Other people here were Sakura, Naruto, Ino, Shikamaru, Choji, Hinata, Shino, and Kiba. Who was happy that he had an exception on bringing Akamaru.

I also noticed that Sasuke was supposed to be here. But ever since that day of the Chūnin exams three years ago, we haven't seen him ever since. Sakura started acting quite glum and irritated without Sasuke. Almost all the girls looked glum without Sasuke.

The class had started as I opened a textbook from my locker with a sticky note on top saying 1 on it. I relived the sticky note and saw that there was a chalkboard where the page number 3 was on. I opened it to the book as Kakashi had introduced the basic information on Chakra.

"I don't get why Naruto's here if he's still Gēnin," Ino whispered to Sakura. I wanted to nod in agreement. Naruto looked a little behind. Even with the basic stuff that Kakashi explained. I thought he trained with Jiraya for two years. Did it now work? Or something?

Rock Lee kept getting too distracted with Sakura's hair. Choji tried to find a way with sneaking in food without Kakashi noticing. Ino just kept chit-chatting with Sakura. Shikamaru was napping and drooled a little bit on the textbook. Kiba had to try and calm down Akamaru who was barking like crazy. Shino was the silent one sitting in the corner of the classroom. Hinata kept fidgeting with her fingers and read the textbook to herself.

TenTen and Neji were stuck in an awkward situations. Though Neji ignored it and focused well on his studies. TenTen tried to do the same bug was very annoyed with Akamaru's barking. She tried her best to ignore it and read her textbook silently.

"Kiba if you don't shut up that idiotic Akamaru I'll punch you!" Sakura yelled. Akamaru whimpered and stayed silent after Sakura's outburst. It also caused Shikamaru to wake up as he looked at his textbook blankly. Hinata sighed and continued what she was doing. "Gah! Sakura-Chan! Kakashi-Sensei! I need help!" Naruto complained as he knew nothing about what he was reading. Kakashi came first so Sakura could focus on reading her textbook.

Neji was up to the point where he was almost getting distracted. He clenched his fists with the anger of almost getting distracted. TenTen had already been distracted as she closed her textbook and stared at the black board of she couldn't read.

Neji was still having intense focus trying to concentrate. But when he heard Choji's annoying chewing and Akamaru's barks getting louder, Kakashi stood up from helping Naruto and got up with an annoyed look on his face. Though we could only see it through his one eye.

"Kiba, take that dog out. Choji. I have a sense of smell so don't think I can smell you eating those potato chips. Ino and Sakura, I have ears so don't think I can here you guys talk about Sasuke. Shikamaru. Rock Lee. I have eyes behind my back I know that your napping and your staring at Sakura. Your distracting Hinata, Neji, and TenTen," Kakashi said.

"And everyone forgets about me," Shino muttered in the corner. Everyone was silent as they opened their textbook. Kakashi tried explaining everything to Naruto. He mostly understood. So when Kakashi stopped helping Naruto, he caught Shikamaru sleeping again. He threw a kunai at him. Shikamaru yelped and stood up before it could hit him.

"Well, great start so far," TenTen said in a tone of sarcasm. Neji nodded with his fists clenched and reading his book. TenTen sighed and opened it back reading on the same page where she left off.
