TenTen's POV

My eyes were wide open when Rock Lee bad woke me up. I groaned and looked at him with a blank expression. "TenTen-Chan! He's awake!" Rock Lee exclaimed. I quickly stood up and raced Rock Lee to the room Neji was operated. Of course, Rock Lee had one. Everyone was already there in Team Gai. Hinata, Hanabi and Hiashi were there, too. Neji woke up uncomfortably. When he saw me, he gave me a smile. I blushed and smiled back.

Rock Lee complained. "Come on is there something you guys aren't telling me?! There's a weird aura surrounding you guys!" Rock Lee exclaimed. I glanced at Neji and giggled as I crossed my arms. "Since your so young in your youth, you'll understand when your older," I said. Neji had slightly laughed. Hinata smiled as Hanabi stayed serious.

"Hey! Youth is a wonderful thing!" Gai exclaimed. Hanabi quickly shushed him. "There's some talking outside," Hanabi said as the room grew silent as there was talking right outside the room. "We preformed an autopsy and found out that the Akasuki member had tried to murder the kunoichi Neji," the doctor said. I clenched my fists and listened carefully to the conversation. "What was his name? And did he have any family members?" An ANBU asked. I could tell by his voice.

"All we know is that his name was Tenyu with no last name. And we also did a blood test to see who were his family members. He seemed to have a daughter named TenTen that's associated with Neji," the doctor replied. My eyes widened as I looked at Neji who also seemed to have a surprised face. "TenTen-Chan..," Neji said. I stormed out of the room as I ran into a pair of ANBU and a doctor or head medical-nin.

"Can I see a picture of him?" I asked. The doctor took a glance at the ANBU as they handed me a file. I looked in it and saw the man in a picture. It was just a police sketch but everything about it seemed very detailed. His chocolate brown hair was very similar to mine and his eyes were wide like mine. He seemed to have worn Chinese clothing like I did and I could see that he also knew fuinjutsu with the scrolls tied to his back. Even if it was just a sketch, this was sure my father.

I gave them back the file slowly and walked out of the hospital without telling anyone. Even as much as I wanted to see Neji, I just needed some alone time since I found out that I just killed my dad in accident. He was a part of the Akasuki but it was only now that I just realized he was my father. I had tears flow from my eyes like rain from a fresh cloud. I clenched my fists and stuffed them in my pockets and grit my teeth as I cried.

"TenTen-Chan," I heard a voice behind me. I stopped walking and looked behind me. I saw that Neji was standing there with his regular clothes on and a smile on his face. I smiled back and waved. Neji soon frowned at the sight of me crying. He walked closer to me and pulled me into a tight hug.

"I heard what happened. Gomen, TenTen-Chan," Neji said. I patted his back and released him. "I saved you and your alive. That's all that matters. Besides, he never took care of me in the first place. It was Team Gai that was like a family to me," I said. Neji nodded and held my hand as I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"Anyways how did you go to the hospital so early?" I asked Neji. "I sort of got to since I was already healed," Neji said. I nodded and rested my head against his shoulder. "I missed you. Even if it was just for a few minutes. Neji-Kun," I said and smiled as I wiped my tears.

"Arigato for saving me," he said and kissed my forehead. I quickly blushed and turned flustered. Something that Ino or Hinata would do. I just smiled and held onto Neji's hand and rose it up in victory. "WE WON!!!" I yelled and laughed happily. I saw as Neji winced in pain as he used his other hand to clutch onto his rib in pain. I quickly rushed to his aid and pulled down my hand and his. "Gomen asai, Neji-Kun," I said as he put his arm draped around my shoulders and gave me a weak smile.

The kind he would give me when he would tell me he's okay.

"I'm okay, TenTen-Chan," Neji said and got up. I looked at him and smiled. "You still have a part of my Byakugan, right?" Neji asked. I nodded as I focused chakra to my eyes and felt my veins bulge on my cheeks like what it looks like when Neji does it. I retracted it and smiled. "Arigato Neji-Kun. Now I'm not the most useless," I said. Neji frowned and out a hand on my shoulder.

"I was able to retrieve my Byakugan in the hospital. But that doesn't mean your useless. You were never useless, TenTen-Chan. To everyone your amazing. Don't ever think that your the worst," Neji said. I grinned and punched his arm lightly. "Thanks for being there when I needed it most, Neji-Kun," I said and held his other hand and looked at him in the eyes.

"You sort of look like a Hyūga when you do your Byakugan," Neji said and grinned. "It looks, adorable in a way," Neji said. He quickly shook his head as a red blush appeared on his cheeks. "N-No! That's not what I meant! Well, you look like a Hyūga and you look pretty and stuff like that but-" "I know what you meant, Neji-Kun," I said. Some sort of look appeared on Neji's face. It looked like a smirk.

"Just kiss me, TenTen-Chan."

My eyes widened as the blush faded away from Neji as if it transferred to me. It was just a sweet, simple kiss but everything about it made me smile. Before I knew it, Neji was blushing as red as a tomato. It was almost like a Hyūga thing to get flustered easily. "Your blushing, Neji-Kun," I said and half smiled. His eyes widened.

"Wh-What are you talking about? A prodigy like me does not get flustered easily," Neji exclaimed. I sighed and linked my arms with his and walked off in what seemed like we were getting closer to the sunrise. I hadn't realized it was morning already. "If I do die, you'll have a part of me," Neji said, referring to my, or his, Byakugan. I smiled.

"If I die, would you have a part of me?" I asked.

"Always," Neji replied and smiled.
