dear You,
today i met you for the first time. it was crowded in the mall, hordes of christmas shoppers filling the place, mothers running around arms filled with bags, newly-wed couples basking in the feel of the first holidays together, groups of families buying late christmas decorations. the quiet part of the mall was no exception to these crowds, not even the coffee shop in the corner of the mall that was hidden amongst a pet store and a store selling car accessories.
but of course, there you were. glasses perched atop your nose, devouring a j.d. salinger book with a steaming cup of tea in one hand.
gingerly, i walked over to you, coughing when i deemed myself close enough for you to hear. at first you glanced up, confused. you were so lost in the words that you forgot where you were. immediately, i felt guilty for bringing you out of that beautiful trance.
i pulled on the strings of my red hoodie as you struggled to bring yourself back to reality.
i was a nervous wreck then, not knowing what you would think of me in the flesh. and i was, of course, guilty for bringing you out of the safe-haven that was your book.
but then your eyes finally landed on me, your gaze steady, green eyes piercing. i held back a grin, giving you a small smile instead.
you opened your mouth but no words came out. i decided to say hi, walk the few steps remaining to get to where you sat.
at once you stood up, gently placing the things in your hands on the table in front of you.
you moved forward, i smiled a little more.
'hello,' i finally grinned.
'you,' you whispered with a smile.
you had me then.
always yours, Me.

A/N: so ldkaj;kldfj;klafdj;l basically, I got so inspired by someone that I wrote this. This was fun to write, with its lack of capital letters and all. Also, I'm planning to maybe make this into a short story. Depends on how it goes. Hmmm.
CONCRIT, extremely appreciated!
