chapter 10: A different rival?

"Could you quit dozing off, were going to get off at the wrong stop." Aru said to as stood up to leave before the bus driver could take off again.

(Half asleep) "I'm coming." I said as I stood up. "If your worried about getting off on the wrong stop you could have woken me up later or let me stay home, I didn't get much sleep."

"That's because you stayed up watching anime."

"I told you I was going to watch just "one more episode"."

"You say just "one more episode" but you really mean your going to watch the entire season of it."

Actually he's wrong, I watched two whole seasons of anime but I'm not going to tell him that.

(Still half asleep) "whatever."

To be honest, ever since 10th was shot by 4th I've been having the same nightmare every night. I don't wanna talk about it, but all I can say about it is that it's similar to the one I had awhile back (A/N: chapter 7).

I keep waking up crying in the middle of a night, which is strange since I can usually keep myself from crying, so I've been watching anime to get my mind off of it and as a result I end up going to sleep late.

And I kinda went to sleep at 5:10 a.m. last night.....*looks away and starts whistling*

As we walked, I saw a ramen restaurant. I heard my stomach growl, well we didn't have breakfast...I have an idea...*evil smirk*

I grabbed Aru's tie. "Let's get some ramen!" I said while pointing to the ramen restaurant.

"We need to get to Gasai's place before they return."

"They won't be back until night time! Besides you OWE me."

"Your not going to let that go are you?"

"Nope."

"*sighs* fine, let's go."

*evil smirk* Yes! We're getting food.

We walked inside and sat at an empty table. After the ramen we ordered arrived, I automatically start eating it, because I was starving, while Aru just sat there staring at me with his chopsticks in his hand, he was, for some reason, blushing a little bit.

"What? Is their something wrong?" I asked.

"It's nothing." Aru said still blushing a little.

"Your blushing again."

"No I'm not."

I showed him his reflection with the camera on my phone. "Yes you are."

Aru keep trying to convince me that his blushing didn't mean anything as I ignored him and continued to eat my ramen. Suddenly someone with a black jacket was standing in front of me.

"Ryoko?"

I looked up and saw Iwao standing there.

"Oh hi Iwao, you like wearing black don't you."

"Yeah, but you seem to wear different colors don't you?"

He right. I was wearing a black sweater, a navy blue shirt, a light pink skirt, black leggings, and black ankle boots.

"I guess so."

Aru was obviously not too happy about Iwao being here and probably felt like pulling a Yuno (a.k.a. stabbing someone).

"Oh yeah, who's that? I saw him the first time I met you. Is he your boyfriend?" Iwao asked.

"No he's not, the wannabe parent's name is Aru Akise."
