Media is a full picture of Harley, I know it shows up weird on mobile. This is also the last chapter I had written beforehand so updates will probably be slower from this point on.

"Hi, sweetheart," my mom said, opening her arms for a hug. My dad stood next the her, his arm around her shoulders.

"Mom? Dad? Is it really you guys?" I asked, running towards them.

"Of course it is," my dad chuckled, wrapping my mom and I in a hug.

"I miss you guys so much," I sniffed, trying to keep tears from falling.

"We miss you too, our sweet girl. Don't worry, we'll meet again soon. It might take a while, but we'll be a family again," my mom whispered into my hair.

"It'll be all of us: me, your mom, Selina, your grandparents, and you. We're waiting for you and Selina, and we'll be as patient as we need to be," my dad smiled.

"I love you guys," I said, tears falling freely now.

"Never forget that we love you with all of our hearts," my mom told me, kissing my forehead. "You need to go now, but we'll always watch over you. Never forget that, Alexis."

Startled, I woke up. I hadn't dreamt about my parents like that in a few months. I felt moisture on my cheeks, and as I went to touch it, I found that I had been crying in my sleep. That hadn't happened to me since half a year after my parents' deaths. "What is happening to me?" I whispered, running my hands through my hair. "You're losing it, Alexis. C'mon, you gotta be stronger than that."

Taking the water bottle from beside my bed, I drank, pondering what my dream had meant. I normally didn't have dreams like that without them meaning something, whether it be a warning or just my mind giving me what my heart desires. Cas mewled, catching my attention. "What do you want, little guy? What time is it anyways?" I looked over to my alarm clock, seeing it was almost eleven.

"Let's see if Selina's up yet," I told Cas, picking him up. I got out of bed and put on my glasses, seeing that my hacking and coding programs were still up on my computer screens. After closing them down and making sure that nothing had happened while I was at Sirens' base or asleep, I went back on my original journey.

"Hey, Alexis. What time did you end up getting back?" Selina asked as I walked into the living room. I looked over to see my aunt sitting at the small table we had, drinking a cup of coffee.

"I think at around five or something like that," I said, going to make some breakfast. "You want some eggs or something?"

"Yes please," Selina responded. "What happened to your hand?"

"Oh, yeah, that. I was training with my knives and Ivy surprised me. I lost grip and it kinda sliced my palm," I explained, looking down at my bandaged hand. "I should probably go clean this before I make food, huh?"

"That'd be the smart thing to do," she replied, sipping at her coffee. "Don't forget, we're going to go shopping for an evening gown for you. Tomorrow we'll look for accessories and shoes and stuff."

"Okay. Jaydon's got a tournament at four so I need to be back before then," I called back as I went to the bathroom to change my bandage. Getting a fresh bandage strip and things to clean my cut, I prepared for the day ahead of me. I hadn't been lying to Tom about my weekend being completely booked, and the fact that I woke up late certainly didn't help at all. I poured the rubbing alcohol over the cut, wincing as it disinfected it. I could handle getting hurt, anything from heavy bruising to broken bones, but once it came to disinfecting and such, I was a major wimp. I wrapped my hand, securing the bandage with a clip.
