Hope you guys enjoy the first installment of the Black Cat Chronicles! I'm also going to be adding outfits to help you guys picture them and that can be found in the media somewhere above. And as always, I hope you enjoy!

"I'm bored," I told my aunt as I laid down on her couch.

"Well, we can't go out and do anything until night falls. Then we can see if Batsy can catch us," she told me from her spot in the kitchenette.

"Really? We can go out tonight?" I questioned as I sat up quickly. "I've been getting better at gymnastics so I can keep up with you now!"

"Sure kid. Catwoman needs some new goodies," she told me as she threw a wink my way. "It's Thursday anyways, you can miss school tomorrow if you want."

"This is why you're my favorite aunt, Selina," I told her.

"I'm your only aunt, kiddo," she laughed. I went to my room to finish up some homework that I had gotten that day, and thought about how this all came to be. My parents had died in a car accident a year ago, leaving my aunt, Selina Kyle, as my legal guardian. After about a week of living with my aunt, I noticed that she behaved weird. She would always disappear in the middle of the night and not come back until early morning.

After snooping around a bit, I found out who she was. Catwoman, one of the most badass villains in Gotham, was my aunt. I didn't expect it from the most mild-mannered person I knew. I had been sketching the Gotham City Sirens and had put Catwoman without a mask when Selina walked into my room and saw. "Whatcha drawing there, kiddo?" She had asked.

"Nothing," I told her as I tried hiding my drawing. She took my paper before I could hide it and saw her features on Catwoman, or rather herself, even down to her black hair and green eyes.

"How'd you know?" Selina asked me as she put my drawing back on my desk.

"You behavior was odd, so I did some snooping. I'm so sorry Selina, I didn't expect to find this out," I apologized.

"Oh no, I'm not mad. By the way, if you drew Harley with a darker black on her mask and a brighter red for her lipstick, you'd get this perfect. And Ivy, her bodysuit goes more like this," she said, sketching a bit off to the side. "It's really good. I think the girls would want to meet you, you're pretty good at gymnastics and you run really fast. You're quiet too, that could help us. You don't mind stealing, right?"

"Wait, I could get to meet the Gotham City Sirens and not have it be because I'm a hostage?" My aunt looked at me with a weird look before I told her, "I have really crappy luck."

"Yeah. We need someone who's small enough to get into places we can't. And Ivy's plants aren't cutting it anymore," she told me. That night, she dressed me in a black leather jacket, some black skinny jeans, and a black mask. "Can't let the girls know who you are just yet," she told me as she fixed my mask. "How do you feel about the name 'Black Cat'? We can work on your outfit later," Selina told me.

"Sounds good to me. Anyways, can we add some blue into my outfit?"

"Sure thing, kiddo." We went to meet the Sirens in an abandoned animal shelter about an hour after that. My aunt decided to start me off by getting there by running on rooftops. Seeing her in the whole Catwoman getup, complete with the orange goggles and whip, was amazing. I didn't know that my aunt was that agile, leaping from building to building like it was nothing.

"Who's the kid?" Harley Quinn asked as we entered the building. I tried so hard not to freak out as my favorite villains in Gotham were standing in front of me. Even though no one in my class wanted to admit it, we all had our favorites, the ones we thought would be the ones to take out the Batman.
