Drop all your marbles, your games and your toys,
Join all these friendly looking girls and boys.
They've got the best things that you'll ever find
Exotic plants broken down to a grind.
First you'll enjoy them and always want more,
Sometimes you'll get caught sneaking through the back door.
Your parents will try, and help you to stop,
But there's no way to end this, your health starts to drop.
Your parents cut off your money supply,
Convince them you'll stop, which of course is a lie.
For some extra cash, you go underground,
Your friends soon realize you're never around.
Fights always start and you lose your friends trust,
But to do what you do is simply a must.
Desperate for money, the sky dark as ash,
Break into a store and flee with some cash.
You think no one saw you, but what you don't know,
The building has cameras, alarms start to blow.
Sitting alone in a place they call jail,
Waiting for someone you know to pay bail.
In the evening you're free, when your parents come,
Their trust in you fading along with the sun.
As soon as you're home they force you to stop,
They anger you so much that you blow your top.
Screaming and punching with your family you fight
Thrown into your room for the rest of the night.
Tears of anger slip down your cheeks,
You've felt nothing but pain for the last couple weeks.
You search through the web for the easiest way
To get out of this mess without a price to pay.
Escape through your window and into the dark,
Pause for a moment to light one last spark.
Walking alone in the dead of the night,
Wondering if what you're doing is right.

You've been gone for a while,
Vanished into thin air,
No one looked hard They don't really care.
So this one isn't really a free verse poem, but you know what? OH WELL. THIS IS MINE AND I CAN MAKE MY POEMS RHYME IF I WANT TO. Thanks for reading. :D You rock (You know who you are)!
