"3…2…1" The boys all shouted, before Ashton and Michael threw the huge inflatable ball into the air. After several minutes of thrusting, the ball finally headed in my direction. I was about to thrust my hips against it as it was coming down to my level, but I felt a strong pair of arms around my waist before being lifted and swung in the other direction. I heard the familiarity of Ashton's laugh as I was being kept swung around. "Sabotage!" I heard Michael cry as I watched Calum thrust the ball in my place. Ashton put me back on the ground and kissed my cheek before running back to join the game. I felt a bit out of place, not just from the spinning around, but just overwhelmed by my feelings for Ashton. I watched him as his hair flopped whenever he hit the ball, his buff arms revealed as he rolled his sleeves up. His head falling back as he laughed with Calum, the dimples on either side of his mouth. Michael placed his hand on my shoulder and whispered into my ear, "I know Ashton is sexy, but please focus on the game!" That snapped me out of the daze, and just in time too as the ball was heading for me. This time I jumped slightly and thrusted the ball back to the other side. From then on, I turned competitive, and took any change I could to hit the ball. "I knew you were a fighter!" Michael said as he smacked my hand, declaring victory against Ashton and Calum. "Nice one Imogen!" Luke said high fiving me too. "Time for a sing song?" He suggested. The guys agreed and grabbed a couple of guitars from the car. "I wanna hear Imogen sing again!" Calum said like a child. I rolled my eyes, "Please, no!" "We'll sing after, promise!" Ashton said handing me a guitar. "See you calling again, I don't wanna pick up no. I've been laying in bed, probably thinking too much. Sorry I'm not sorry for the times I don't reply, you know the reason why. Maybe you shouldn't come back, maybe you shouldn't come back to me. Tired of being so sad, tired of getting so mad baby. Stop right now, you really let me down maybe you shouldn't come back. Maybe you shouldn't come back to me" I smiled at the boys faces, trying hard not to laugh when it's such a serious song. "Maybe you shouldn't come back, to me…" They applauded. "Yet another beautiful song!" Luke said. I smiled, handing the guitar to Michael. "Your turn!" I glared. "With in a minute I was so packed, I've got a ticket to another world, I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go!" Calum started singing, the guys sitting in a semi-circle, really getting into the music. "She sleeps alone, my heart wants to come home. I wish I was, I wish I was beside you. She lies awake, I'm tryna find the words to say. I wish I was, I wish I was beside you." They all sung in harmony. This song meant a lot to all four of them, you could see it in their faces, it was lovely to see. "Taadaa!" Ashton said at the end. "You guys write insanely good songs!" I said, standing up to go to the car. "Where you going?" Ashton asked. "I'm gonna get my jumper, feeling slightly chilly!" "Here have mine!" He stood up, taking his jumper off and placing it over my head. Once the jumper was fit snug to my body, Ashton's face moved slightly closer to mine. "I'm gonna go back in the sea again before we leave!" Cal declared, standing up, dragging Michael and Luke with him. Ashton took my hand and lead us over to the car, where we leaned against the bonnet. "I was thinking, we should go somewhere, like near a beach in a hotel, spend the weekend together.. Just us two, as friends I mean!" Ashton said. I smiled at him. "We could spend days down at the beach, in the sea, you can teach me how to be better at derpball!" He chuckled. "Then in the evening go out for meals, or stay in the hotel and just order loads of room service!" I still smiled, until I remembered. "What weekend were you thinking?" "Uhm… Next weekend?" He suggested. I nibbled at my fingers. "What's wrong? If you can't do that weekend, we can do another one?" Ashton said. I looked at him, and half smiled. "I'm sorry Ashton, but I can't do that weekend… Or 4 weekends after…" He smile suddenly vanished. I took a deep breath. I've been meaning to tell you since I found out the other day, but my mother has fallen ill and she's all by herself… So I said I'd stay with her for a little bit…" He smiled and said he understood, but I could see the disappointment in his eyes. "Come here!" I said, pulling him in for a hug. "We can go as soon as you get back then!" He said moving out of the hug. We sat back against the bonnet, watching the boys splash around in the sea. "I'm going to miss you." Ashton said, looking ahead. I looked up at him, did he really just say that? "What was the thing you were about to tell me last night?" I said suddenly. Ashton went slightly red in the cheeks. "Oh, uh doesn't matter!" "No, please tell me!" I insisted.
