Chapter39: Never Let Go

*Cammie POV*

I walked straight into Adrianna's room. The girl was over the moon. I'd never seen her this high before. It was heart breaking. But even though I felt for her, and I kinda wanted to join her, she made a promise to me. And that promise was broken not.

"WTF Adrianna?!?!?" Zeke said before I could. He had just walked in behind me. "Heeeeeyyyy yall. Waasssuuupp?" "I can't believe this." I said and walked out. I went into the living room and tried not to cry. I had to think this through but all I heard was yelling coming from Adrianna's room. Zeke was mad as fuck. I got up and walked back in there.

"Zeke chill." "Thank you mami. See she not even mad." "That's not what I said though. I just told Zeke to chill. That don't mean shit abou how I'm feeling about you." "Cammie? Want me to give yall a minute?" "Yea that would be great." Zeke walked out and it was just me and papi. How could she do this? Why would she do this? What was I supposed to do. But I know for a fact that I'm not mad enough to leave her. But I do think I at least deserve an explanation.

"Start talking." "Look I just need to get my mind right." "From what Adrianna?" "I mean shit happened." "WHAT THOUGH!?" "Man my parents don't want me with them anymore. Damn Cammie. Is that what you wanted?" "Yes actually." That was all I needed to hear. I walked to the bed and laid next to her. I took the blunt form between her lips and took my first and last hit. I put it out and looked at her. "Babe what did you just do." "Promise me you won't do this again. Promise and so will I." "You mean you not mad?" "Of course I'm mad. But that don't mean I'm leaving. We gon get thigh this together. But you gotta promise me you won't do this EVER again." "I promise mami." "Good." I said and kissed her cheek. After that we just laid there. It was just me and her now. Us against the world.
