Joel had taken me shopping, turns out he's a junior. As he drove me to the store we had a discussion about his life, he works at a place where he unlocks iCloud locked iPhones, and he earns a lot of money from it.
My parents are informed that I will be going to a party. They asked me, "Who's party is it?"
I couldn't lie to my parents!
I still did, "This girl, she's a straight A student!"
"Oh, okay. I want you home by eleven." My mom said.
"Okay." I replied. My parents aren't over protective and they trust me. I may ruin that if I keep doing things like this, of course this is just a one time thing.
Right?
After a whole hour of shopping, we ended up with a dress, flats, necklace, rings, metal tattoos(I love Joel so much for this), and a flower 'crown' as I like to call it. I met Joel yesterday and he's already buying me stuff, I'm going to cry.
He gave me a ride home, "Can you tell me more about George?"
"He's an amazing guy."
"How amazing?" I asked.
"Well, I met him my freshmen year. We were like best friends, and we weren't really into relationships. I thought the best way to go is to stay as friends, it was a lot more fun that way."
"Okay. So how did you become more than friends, you were like in a comfort zone?"
"Comfort zone? Well I guess we were in a comfort zone. I don't know Caroline, we just started to get really close."
"That's nice." I said.
"Yea, there were times when I pushed him away but he managed to stick with me. He's a great guy for that, he can actually bare my nonsense."
"Your nonsense?" I was surprised.
"I can be really stupid sometimes."
"Your like the smartest kid I've ever met!"
"It's like... I'm stupid handling real life problems."
"What?" I'm confused.
"I can sometimes make big mistakes, and I can sometimes be very childish and disrespectful."
"Oh! Okay, I can be like that too."
"Caroline you're a freshmen, of course you're going to be acting like a child."
"Hey! For your information I've been very mature now a days, I'm growing up."
"Yea okay. Freshy."Joel said.
"I hate you." I rolled my eyes and I looked out the window.Joel stopped right in front of my house and dropped me off, "Go change, and I'll pick you up in a bit."
"I can't do this with out you." I said worriedly.
"Yes you can. You were technically doing everything yourself yesterday, you looked astonishing."
"Really?" I asked Joel.
"Yes, really. I'll see you in a bit. Okay?"
"Okay." He drove away.I headed inside, "Hey mom." She was baking pie, the smell of apple pie roamed by my nose.
"Hey sweetie, I though you were at the party already?" She said as she was adding sauce to the pasta.
"I had to go shopping before the party, I gotta look nice." I said as I was about to close the door to my room.
"I haven't heard you talk like that in a while."
"What?" I peeked my head out my room.
"You trying to look pretty? I always see you bummy, not really caring about your appearance. Is it a boy? Oh my, if it is you're going to have to tell me now."
"Mom! It's not a boy." I hid my face with my hands.
"Then?"
"I just thought it was time for a change."
"Interesting."
"Yea." I went back into my room.I put on music and started listening to Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.
"Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?" I started singing as I changed clothes."Mama just killed a man, put a gun against his head. Pulled the trigger and now he's dead." I sang as I formed my hand into a gun and acted like I shot myself.
I started to put on my make up that's when there was the guitar solo, and then something even more amazing happens after that, "I see a little silhouette of a man...."
I started to jump around and flip my hair, the hype for tonight is unbelievable.I was putting the metal tattoos on me and received a message, "Come outside." It was from Joel.
I grabbed my jacket and walked out, "Bye honey." My mom said to me as I left the house.
"Bye mom!" I replied to my mom as I blew on the metal tattoos which were still fresh.I was walking towards Joel's car and I noticed a guy who took my front seat.
"Hey Joel." I said from the back of the car.
"Hey Caroline, so um. This is my boyfriend."
"Oh!" I put my hand out and said, "Nice to meet you, I'm Caroline."
He reaches for my hand and shakes it, "Nice to meet you Caroline, my name is George."
"Cool." I said and let go.
"Are you guys ready?" Joel said as he started the cars ignition.
"Ready." I said.
"Let's go." Joel said.
