3 weeks later
Finally after three weeks, I finished all of Damon designs. I had a lot of fun making these.
"Elena, you have a visitor."
"Send them up."
When I hear the door open, I start talking.
"Please hurry, I don't have a lot of time."
When I look up, I'm not surprised by who I see.
"Damon, you and your future brides appointment is later today. What do you want?"
"My mother told me. Everything."
"What do you want to say to me? Your bride will be here in ten minutes."
"I'm sorry. Could we start over?"
"Damon, I hope you remember that we are both getting married soon."
I can see the sweat building up on his forehead.
"Elena, I wanted you to have the world back when you worked for me. You've grown into a beautiful, fine, young woman. Jason will be one of the luckiest men in the world."
That took courage of him.
"Please sit."
When he sits down, he takes a deep breath.
"Damon, we can start over. But only as friends. Your future wife will be very lucky to have such a kind, caring, and courageous husband."
"I don't know how I could've let you leave me. Your amazing. Let's start over, as friends."
He gives me one of his classic smirks. After a minute of just looking around, I speak.
"Hi, I'm Elena. Its very nice to meet you Damon."
"Hi, I'm Damon. Its very nice to meet you Elena."
After five minutes of friendly chatting I hear the door open. His bride.
"Hi, Elena! I'm so excited."
"I hope you love them, just as much as I do. Damon just came in early to make sure I put your necklace in the designs."
"Thanks sweetheart."
They give each other a quick kiss on the lips and then we all sit down.
Then I show them the designs and they fall in love.
Even though I was heart broken over Damon. I'm happy that he has moved on and has become a better man. Shes one very lucky girl.
I just hope that they stay together and don't get divorced.
Maybe we can all be friends in the future.
