Do you ever feel like your whole life is just a dream? Like, at some point you are just going to wake up and you will realize that it was never real. That's how Ivan feels. Except, to him, his dream is more like a nightmare. He knows that most of the countries are frightened of him.
He tries to be nicer, to smile more, offer compliments, but everything he does just scares everyone even more. What they didn't realize was that Ivan just wanted friends, to be loved. Not the obsessive love his sister Natalya has for him, but real love, someone who really cares for him. Until he finds someone who will accept him, scars and all, he will try to be accepted, and one day, he will be loved.
