"Warning, new 'bad boy'!" a voice shouted, making me kick Calum with the ball. I saw it was my friend Luke. I followed his eyes and sighed.
"Not every person with a bad boy look is a 'bad boy', Luke," I said, looking at him. He pretended to surrender, and I smiled.
"Why do you go for bad boys, Gigi?" my other friend Calum asked, kicking the football to himself.
"I don't really know. Maybe because I believe they're not that bad. It's a look they like," I said, looking at the boy now to fully see him.
He wore full-black skinny jeans with rips in the knees, a sleeveless jacket, and a plain top. His curly, honey-coloured hair was neatly combed.
"Gigi, stop staring!" Calum snapped, snapping his fingers in front of my face. I shook my head and took the ball from him.
"I wasn't," I defended, kicking the ball back at him.
"Sure," Luke said, standing up and grabbing his bag. He walked over to us.
"But Gigi, he's a 'bad boy', so stay away from him. Especially since your reason," I sighed, knowing Luke was right.
I suffer from anger issues, and the wrong thing could set me off. Sure, I have medication to calm it down, but sometimes on busy days, I forget about it. Only two people deal with me, even if I'm shouting at them: Calum and Luke. The only people!
I nodded, understanding.
"I don't want to scare him away from school," I said, looking in his direction to see him looking at me. He smiled shyly, and I smiled back.
He's going to make this so hard for me to stay away.
