Nobody Dared Care

They see you there,

Alone and scared,

They don't care,

And they never dared know,

They heard your cries,

And your screams,

But they ignore it with a mouthful of lies,

Your world is bursting as it seems,

They saw your cuts,

And pretended to believe your lies,

And they carry on without a fuss,

And still your body slowly dies,

And when you said,

"I can't do it anymore"

A silent tear rolled down your cheek,

And you layed in your bed,

With a pen and paper,

And scribbled your final words,

Dear Mum and Dad,

Sorry for being weak,

I understand I just made you so very sad,

I love you,

And it's not you who made me choose this,

And I know you love me too,

But I couldn't take it anymore,

I just want you to feel bliss,

And here's one last kiss,

And a million more,

And I know I'll see you soon,

But please, just hug your pillow tighter,

Keep calm and just look at the moon,

I just wasn't a fighter,

And I'm sorry,

I love you, GOODBYE

And you were crippling with fear,

And covered in your own tears,

You grabbed the noose,

And slid it round your neck,

You put the note in you top pocket,

Closed your eyes,

And stepped off the chair.

And the very next day at school,

They were all thinking they were fools,

For not caring,

Or daring,

Or asking,

They miss you,

But they never acknowledged you when you were alive,

So you gave up, and didn't survive,

And now they care,

Now that your no longer there.
