Aphmau's pov
I told Dante I didn't know why Garroth and Laurence left and he looked worried. "Why would they just leave when we are on the brake of war with Zane?!" Dante sounded angry but concerned.
I couldn't say anything back to Dante and my eyes started to feel wet. I started to cry and Dante looked shocked "I-I'm sorry Lady Aphmau I didn't mean to make you cry?!"N-no you didn't do anything Dante."
Zoey came and hugged me and said "Dante, I don't mean to be rude but Aphmau is really upset can you come back later?"Yeah, sorry." He left and Zoey looked at my face and said "Lady Aphmau, don't be upset Laurence probably left to find Garroth."
Garroth's pov
I was hiding under the bunch of tree's and I still couldn't see anything. I was waiting for the blizzard to clear but it didn't look like it was going to loosen up. It started to get colder and frost started to stick to my hair and armor.
I remembered how Laurence ran into the blizzard with me. "Oh, no?" I couldn't just leave Laurence but I didn't know where he was. I slowly stood up and the wind was so harsh it pushed me and I almost lost my balance.
"Laurence!?" I tried calling for him but I got no answer. I couldn't stand here why my friend was out in this blizzard so I stepped out of the protection of the tree's.
Laurence' pov
The castle never changed, I looked near the stairs and saw the old campsite we used to hide from those giant grey wolves. I laughed because we left the sleeping bags and constantly got new one's.
I decided I wasn't going to return to Phoenix Drop until I found Garroth. I lost him in the blizzard and he might still be out there. I opened the giant wooden doors and a blast of wind and snow knocked me back and somehow I fell up the stairs.
The door closed with a big bang and I sat up. "Dang, the blizzard is too strong!" I was mad that I was being beat by a blizzard. I sighed and sat down at the top of the stairs and wondered if there was another way out.
I remembered the balcony where Aphmau was at the time and I ran up to the abandoned library. I walked through the dim book filled room and it was like a maze. I found the pillar where Aphmau took some wood for the fire.
I missed that time when we would all go off to far places meet new people....don't have to worry about Zane.
