Aphmau's pov
My head was aching and I sat up slowly and grabbed my head. I saw my hands weren't bound anymore but A chain was on my ankles an wrists. I looked around and the room was dark only a little bit of sunlight beamed through a crack in the wall.
I felt the floor and it was stone I looked around everything was stone. "G-Garroth!" I tried yelling his name but got no response. I remembered what happened and tears fell from my face and I started shaking.
I was scared and I wanted to be found so I prayed to Lady Irene that I would be saved.
Garroth's pov
I was still too weak to walk but Lucinda made me a healing potion and I was was recovering much faster. I was still upset about not protecting my Lord good enough every time I closed my eyes I saw Aphmau's terrified face and her screaming my name.
I couldn't let this happen I needed to find her and quick I had no idea what Zane was going to do. I tried sitting up from my bed but it hurt so much that I fell to the floor.
It let out a loud thump and I lied helpless on the ground. I heard someone yell "Garroth?!" It sounded like Cadenza.
I heard someone rush up the ladder and saw Cadenza standing there "Garroth don't move off your bed!" She looked upset and helped me back up. "Sorry Cadenza." I looked down and she shook her head.
"Garroth be carful Raven is going to be back soon with a letter seeing if Aphmau is okay?" I nodded and she smiled and held out a bowl of soup "Here Lucinda made this it has a potion of healing in it so it will help." I took the bowl and she smiled and left the room.
Laurence' pov
I was walking around the docks trying to think of a way to save Aphmau. I then saw something flying through the air, it was Raven. I waved and he flew down and landed next to me.
I looked at Raven for hope but he shook his head. "Dang it!" I wanted to save Lord Aphmau but it doesn't help when I don't know where she is. I sighed and dismissed Raven and went to Aphmau's house.
I walked in front of her door I went to knock and the door flung open and standing there was a teary faced Zoey. When she saw my she hugged me and started to cry. "Zoey are you okay?!"
I was worried and she looked at me and said "I'm sorry Laurence I'm just so worried for Lady Aphmau I don't know what to do."Its okay Zoey we will find her." She looked relieved and moved away.
"Where are the kids?"Upstairs." I went upstairs and when I opened the door I heard Malachi yell "Mom?!" He ran to the door and looked upset it was only me.
