Aphmau's pov
I was so scared I just wanted to hear Garroth's voice so I kept yelling out hoping that he would be here. "Garroth please." I whispered this and tried to choke back the tears. I felt helpless that I would be beaten by a tree so easily.
Then I heard a quiet whisper come from the other side of the room that I think is a jail. "Aph.....mau" It was Garroth! My heart started beating furiously and I cried even more and said in a shaky voice.
"Garroth please, please don't leave me." I heard something move and I felt a release on my wrists and ankles. The tree's stopped. "Garroth!" I couldn't see but then I felt something wrap their arms around me and I knew it was Garroth.
Garroth's pov
I could barely say her name and she yelled mine in a shaky voice. Then my arms and legs felt free. The tree's let my arms and legs go. The first thing I did was hug Aphmau I couldn't see but I knew she was there.
She hugged me back and laid her head on my shoulder. I could feel her tears seeping through my armor and onto my cloths. "Aphmau I won't ever let you go again." I whispered that in her ear and she hugged me tighter.
"I'm sorry." She whispered and I brushed her hair back I wanted there to be light so I could look into Aphmau's chocolate brown eyes and tell her for real that I love her. "Heheheh" 'This moment isn't going to last but I wont give up so easily' I thought this as I heard the laugh.
Laurence' pov
Then I heard the door fly open with a loud crash. I looked over at the door and Zoey stood there looking upset. "How could the tree's do this!?" She seemed really mad. "Zoey calm down the tree's aren't doing this out of their own free will."
I managed to sit up a little and she came over to the bedside. "What do you mean."What I mean is that it was Zane and he is surely going to kill Logan, those guards, and the tree's if we don't stop him!"
"Yeah, but Laurence your hurt." Donna looked worried. "Don't worry I'm fine I just ache a little. I slowly got up and wobbled but caught my footing. "Let's go." They nodded and we left the safety of the house.
