Aphmau's pov
I heard a familiar laugh and it made me shake. Garroth rubbed my head and pulled me close to him. He whispered softly in my ear saying "I will protect you because...I love you."
My heart raced faster and my cheeks burned red. Then I saw a small light. There was a small plopping sound and a lit torch came rolling into where we were. The light of the torch lit up the room and saw there was a stone floor but we were surrounded by a giant tree.
I saw Garroth's face as red as a strawberry and it made me slightly giggle. Garroth had a small smile on his face but that soon disappeared. He was glaring behind me and I turned so he was hugging me from behind.
Garroth's pov
Aphmau was shaking and I hugged her and rubbed her head. I whispered in a sweet voice "I will protect you because.......I love you." I could feel her heartbeat beat faster on my chest.
Then a small light came rolling into the cell and it was a torch. The torchlight lit up the room and it looked like we were in a giant tree. I saw Zane on the other side of the jail cell. I glared and Aphmau looked at me and turned around in my arms.
I was still hugging her from behind and Zane smirked and said "He won't be able to protect you for long you know." Aphmau started shaking again and I yelled "Shut up! I will protect my Lady until I die!"
Laurence' pov
We walked to the woods and I saw mine and Garroth's swords and shields laying on the ground. I ran over and picked up my sword and then I heard a howl. "That's Logan!" Donna yelled.
She ran through the forest and I almost forgot Logan was a wolf. We followed after her and found Logan. "Over here!" He yelled and we ran up to him. "I can smell their scent but it disappeared."
"I don't care if we don't find a scent we need to find them." Then everybody at once said "agreed." We searched everywhere in the forest. We searched in hollows, under fallen tree's, and even in caves but we didn't find anything.
