Aphmau's pov
Zane's face was all I saw before I passed out. I didn't even notice that Garroth and Laurence had come to rescue me. I started to feel cold and I started to shiver. I slowly opened my eyes and it was dark.
I felt a sense of deja vu and the cold dark surroundings. I remembered what happened and I tried to move but I felt cutting into my wrists and ankles. He used branches to tie me up.
I quickly looked around and yelled "Help! Help! Oh Irene please help!" My voice choked back and tears fell from my face. Then I heard a groan next to me I couldn't see but it sounded like Garroth.
Garroth's pov
I ended up being suffocated and I slowly woke up. I heard a familiar voice yelling next to me and I tried to speak but it came out as a groan. I couldn't move my body but I was sitting in a very uncomfortable position.
I was sitting with my face on the ground laying on my stomach and the cold stone pushed on my stomach making me feel like I'm about to throw up. I remembered how Zane had captured us.
'Beaten by tree's huh.' I thought this in my head and I heard Aphmau yell "Garroth?! Garroth?! Oh please be you Garroth?!" She sounded like she had been crying and all I wanted to do was hold her and comfort her.
Laurence' pov
I heard birds chirping and my head ached. I opened my eyes and saw Kiki and Donna standing there looking at me. "Oh thank Irene your okay!" Kiki exclaimed and hugged me.
"Uh were, were am I?" Donna took a deep breath and said "Logan and I were taking Yip for a walk when we saw you laying in the grass all scratched up. We carried you to the barn and Kiki fixed you up."
"What about Aphmau?" I was still feeling weak and I couldn't move but I could talk. Kiki sighed and said "There was no trace of Aphmau or Garroth in the forest."No that, that can't be."
I tried to sit up but my bones ached from being squeezed by a tree and I fell back onto the bed. Then Donna said "Some guards including Logan went out into the forest and we believe that the tree's took Aphmau and Garroth.
