Aphmau's pov
I couldn't leave the house because, one, my foot hurt to walk on, two, I was too embarrassed, and three, because I didn't want to face anyone. I was bored, I looked for something to read but there was no books in the kitchen.
I let out a sigh and looked at my foot. It hurt and was clearly swollen. I tried to stand but I felt a sharp pain in my ankle and it made me fall back onto the dining chair. 'Oww' I didn't want to be in the house any longer I wanted to walk but not run into anybody.
I couldn't take it anymore and I stood up. The pain increased but I didn't care I can't sit here and do nothing! I took a step foreword and wobbled a bit but managed to stay standing. I put my hand on the doorknob and turned it open.
Garroth's pov
As I was walking I heard something rustle in the bushes. This time I was more cautious. I ran to the bush and saw a crouched down Levin. I had my sword drawn. "Levin?" He looked up at me and smiled.
"Daddy, hide, hide!" He grabbed my hand and sat onto the ground. I followed him and sat down. 'Did he just call me daddy?' I was shocked. I looked at Levin and he said "Uncle Laurence, play seek and hide with brober."
He giggled and jumped onto my lap. His smile was so bright like he didn't have a care in the world. I patted Levine's head and he yawned. It was pretty late the sun was setting. He looked tired and I picked him up.
"Okay Levin, lets take you back to Zoey."No, I want to stay with Da......dy." he drifted off to sleep and I heard Zoey yelling for him.
Laurence' pov
Levin was hiding and I was the seeker. I had already found Malachi but Levin was still hiding. I was looking around when I heard whispering. I ducked behind a tree and looked out. I saw Garroth holding Levin and he looked really happy.
I didn't want to disturb them so I slowly and carefully walked away. It was a relief that Garroth was smiling. Maybe the kids will help him. I felt like I had betrayed Garroth when I kissed Aphmau.
"Did you find Levin?" Malachi came running up and I nodded. "Yeah, but he is hiding with Garroth." He smiled and we waited for Zoey to come back from the plaza. She came back after a bit and started calling Levin back. Fun time was over.
