Hurt. (A Rhett and Link Fanfic)

Chapter 3

Katherine's POV

I woke to link yelling.

"What the fuck is going on!?!" He yelled. Me and Rhett shot up.

"Link I know what you did." I said loudly.

"Well, at least I didn't cheat on you with your best friend!" He slurred his words. So he is drunk.

"Link, we didn't do anything!" Rhett butted in.

"How am I supposed to know that!" He yelled again.

"Link!!!" I screamed breaking down crying. I got out of bed a ran out of the house, tears invading my eyes and making their down my cheeks. I ran into an alley way. I leaned against the wall and slid down it. I hugged my knees and continued to cry.

Rhett's POV

Katherine jumped up and sprinted away. I got really mad.

"LINK HOW THE FUCK DO YOU CHEAT ON A GIRL SO SWEET AND INNOCENT?!?" I yelled.

"I don't know." He said sitting down on the bed putting his head in his head.

"Rhett, I fucked up." He said.

"Yea no duh!" I said sprinting out of bed to go catch Katherine, but when I ran down the street, she was no where to be seen. I began to call her name looking everywhere. Until I found her crying in an alley way.

"Oh my god! Katherine there you are!" I said sitting next to her holding her close. She snuggled closer and I let her cry into my shirt. I heard footsteps then Link appeared from around the corner. I glared at him and pointed the other way for him to leave. He shook his head.

"Rhett she's my girlfriend. I can't leave her alone with another guy." He said still slurring his words. Katherine's head shot up and she looked pissed.

"No fucking way I'm your girlfriend after what you did to me!" She said, disgusted.

Link shoved me hardly away from her and grabbed her arm and aggressively dragged her away. I got up quickly and grabbed Katherine's hand and pulled her back. I punched Link on the nose. He stumbled back before coming back and punching me in the stomach. I held my stomach and looked up at Link. I stood up all the way a quickly punched his eye. I grabbed Katherine's hand and sprinted off back to Link's house and got in my car. I told her to get in my car and I started it. I quickly pulled out of Link's drive way and sped home in case Link wanted to come follow us.

Once we got home I looked over at Katherine and she looked at me. I smiled at her and she returned it with one. I opened my door and quickly ran to the other side and opened the door for her. She thanked me and I unlocked the front door. I opened it and let her in.

"Umm....Katherine I know you probably will say no, but do you want to sleep with me?" I asked nervously "That came out wrong.." My voice trailed off. She giggled then smiled really big and said "Hell yea!" I laughed and smiled big. We walked up to my room and I opened the door for her. I grabbed my smallest t-shirt and handed it to her. I went to my dresser and grabbed her some of my boxers. I handed her the boxers and left the room for her to get changed.

I laid down on my bed, once she was dressed of course, and Katherine followed. I pulled her close to me. She put he head on my chest and her hand shortly followed. I pulled her closer if that was even possible. I fell asleep thinking about what had happened this day.
