Hurt. (A Rhett and Link Fanfic)

Chapter 11

As we got into the car I looked on Instagram again, but I turned so Rhett couldn't see.

'How could you kill Link like this?'
'But u were so cuyte.'
'Soooo, is this going to change anything?'
'Katherine, you are a slut. You go man to man like that. And I thought that you and Link were so perfect! Now your with Rhett? Whatever.'
'Yall need to stop hating! They are cute and need to have babies immediately.'

Now the last one was sweet. Then I continued scrolling.

'Why did you break up?'
'What! How could you break up with Link and go to his BEST FRIEND!?!'
'I really hope the best for you two. But you and Link belong together...'

Then I stopped reading. I couldn't take reading his name anymore, or how I broke his heart. He cheated on me!!! I put my phone down in my lap and rested my head on the window.

"Are you ok?" Rhett asked rubbing my leg with one arm while the other was on the steering wheel.

"Yea." I said. I sounded like I was going to cry because I was. They were so mean!

"No your not." He said. We pulled into the parking lot of the studio and Rhett looked at me.

"Just ignore those people. They aren't our parents, they cant control us. Now c'mon lets go to work." He said, I didn't say anything its like he can read minds. I nodded and got out of the car. I grabbed his hand and walked inside.

Link's POV

I saw Katherine and Rhett walk in holding hands and I felt a sharp pain in my chest.

"Hey, man." Rhett said to me.

"Hey." I said blankly.

"Hi, Link" Katherine said to me.

"Hey. Oh, guess who's coming today." I said to her. Rhett was still right there by her.

"Who?" She asked.

"Smosh." I said. She got all excited.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD, ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!" She asked.

"Yea!" I said to her. She turned to Rhett who was filming it.

"NO!!!!" She screamed and ran at Rhett laughing. He laughed and started running away. She was running behind him. But he took a turn and confused her.

"Where are you???" She asked frustrated.

"Hello?" We heard a loud voice.

"Omg. They're here!" She whisper yelled. Rhett came out and took hold of her hand. And yet again another sharp pain went through my chest.

Katherine's POV

Rhett came out and took hold of my hand. We walked to the lobby and I saw them. I let go of Rhett's hand and tackled them in a hug.

"What the hell!?!" Ian exclaimed. I hugged him tighter.

"I LOVE YALL!!!!!!!!" I screamed. They both started laughing.

"We love you too?" Anthony said. I laughed and stud up. They both stud up too.

"I'm Katherine." I said as I shook Ian's hand.

"I'm Ian." Ian said getting lost in my eyes.

"And I'm Anthony." Anthony said as I turned to him and shook his hand. I looked over at Rhett and saw him looking through the video he got of me. Evil. That's just evil... I thought. He put his phone in his pocket and walked over with Link.

"So what's the plan?" Anthony asked.

"Well, in about 5 minutes we are going to film." Link said. Anthony nodded while Ian looked at me and every time I looked at him he looked away. Thankfully Rhett didn't see. To be honest I kinda like Ian. He was perfect! And his hair! It was just the perfect shade of light brown. But I love Rhett. I looked up at Rhett and saw him smiling down at me. We all went to the set to get it ready. Ian stayed kinda close to me. They went ahead and started the episode. They did all the things and spun The Wheel of Mythicality. Then came GMmore.

"Ok so when we told Katherine that you were coming she kinda flipped out. We have video proof." Rhett said. Oh noooo... I thought to myself.

"Can we see it?" Anthony asked. Rhett nodded dramatically. I covered my face because I was blushing madly. Rhett pulled his phone out and showed them. They all started laughing. I dug my face deeper into my palms. Once they stopped recording I had to help Ian out of his dress from the Titanic skit. I went to the dressing room closet thingy and so did Ian. Once we got in there he faced the opposite way of me and I zipped his zipper in the back down. He turned around and looked me in the eyes. He got lost in mine and I got lost in his. He leaned in and kissed me passionately. He pushed me back against the wall and grabbed my ass and groped it. I pulled my head away but he kept kissing me. He pushed me further back and then tried to pull my shirt off, but thankfully Rhett came in. I was crying at this point. He pulled Ian off of me and punched his nose. (Trinity, What are those.) Rhett grabbed my hand and dragged me out. He led me to the car and we got in.

"What happened?" He asked in the car.

"H-he kissed me and pushed me against the wall. He started to grope my butt, but I tried to push away!" I replied trying to keep the tears from falling, but failed.

"Hey, hey, hey now...come here." Rhett said. He motioned for me to sit on his lap. He pushed the seat back and I curled up in his lap. He hugged me close.

"Rhett I love you." I said to him.

"I love you too, Kat." He said kissing the top of my head. I smiled and said "Rhett thank you......for everything"

"No problem." He replied. I looked up at him.

"Can we go home?" I asked.

"Yea." Rhett said.

I climbed back into my seat and Rhett readjusted his seat. Rhett drove off and I looked out the window. Once we were home I got out of the car and went inside. I sat down on the sofa and Rhett sat next to me.

"I need to vlog. I forgot!" I said. I had a channel in which I vlog my daily life. Its called LoveAlways. I need to change my profile picture because its a picture of me and Link. I grabbed my laptop and vlog camera. I ran upstairs into me and Rhett's room. I plopped down on our bed and turned my laptop on. I changed my profile pic to the pic of me and Rhett snuggling. The exact one that blew up my Instagram. I picked up my camera and started recording.

"Hey guys! Sorry it's been forever! Its just some things have gone down with Link and-" I stopped myself. I couldn't talk about it with out crying.

"Anyway....don't expect daily vlogs just weekly or every other week or if I'm bored. I will use this channel to keep you guys informed. So I'm sorry I haven't been on. Anyway yea." I said. I put the camera in my pocket and went downstairs. I sat down next to Rhett and he wrapped his arm around my waist. I pulled my camera out and started recording.

"So yea. Ummm. I posted a picture on Instagram and alot of yall have been hating on me and Rhett. Guys I don't know why yall are. But....please stop." I said.

"Yea guys." Rhett chimed in. I gave Rhett a quick kiss and looked back at the camera.

"Yall said some really mean stuff and." I sighed and looked at Rhett. "Can I tell them?" I asked. He nodded.

"Well the reason me and Link broke up is because Link cheated on me. So I called Rhett and he came over. He comforted me but then Link came over and saw Rhett holding me and got mad. Stuff went down and that's all I really want to say." I said. "So I'm going to end it here guys. I'm sorry but bye." I turned the camera off and grabbed my laptop. I showed Rhett my new profile pic and he smiled. I edited the video and uploaded it with no regrets. I looked at Rhett and smiled. He gave me a kiss and when we were done we both went upstairs. We turned on Netflix and snuggled together. Until I fell asleep with my head on his chest.
