I woke up to Rhett placing me down on the bed. I looked up at him and smiled sleepily. He smiled back and I got up, got into pjs then crawled back into bed while Rhett striped down to his boxers. Rhett laid down next to me and pulled me close. I laid my head on his chest and he stroked my hair and back. He kissed my head and I smiled.
Rhett's POV
I felt Kat lean her head on my chest. I smiled and looked down at her. I looked back up at the TV. After about 30 minutes I started to dose off. I looked down at her and she smiled a little in her sleep. I smiled and thought to myself, 'I am so lucky to have her....'
I picked her up bridal style and carried her upstairs. I gently placed her in bed but she woke up. She got up and grabbed pjs. I looked away because I didn't want to be disrespectful and lose her. Once she was done and curled up in bed I was just pulling my shirt off. I curled up next to her and she snuggled deep into my chest. I started to stroke her hair. I kissed her head and she smiled. She slowly drifted away to sleep and I was just laying there watching her. She was so beautiful, and Link made the mistake of his life and I can't see why he cheated on her. I slowly started falling asleep.
The Morning
Katherine's POV
I woke up the next morning and looked up at Rhett's sleeping face. I still had my head on his chest, that was rising and falling. I smiled and grabbed my phone and laid on my back. I was still in Rhett's grip though. I looked through my Instagram and checked my latest photo which was the 'Snuggling with my new bae.' I looked at the comments.
'How could you break up?'
'Why Rhett?'
'You whore.'
'Awww, Yall are cute together!!'
'What the fvck, why would you break Links heart like that?'
I could feel the tears in my eyes. Rhett pulled me closer.
"Hey, ignore them." He said in his morning voice. I nodded and wiped the the tears out of my eyes. He kissed me and I kissed back. We pulled away and stared into each others eyes. Then got up and ready for work.
