Hurt. (A Rhett and Link Fanfic)

Chapter Thirteen.

I looked down at Katherine's sleeping body that was latched onto my arm. I smiled a little and looked back at the ground.

A few hours later...

A nurse came out from the doors and called Links name.

"Charles Neal? Anyone here for Charles Neal?" She asked. I stud up and Kat woke up. I grabbed her hand gently and we walked over.

"Uh, we are." I said. She nodded.

"If you follow you can come see him. But he is very weak and is in a coma. We don't know if he will be ok." She warned ruthlessly. We nodded and Katherine latched onto my arm. She smiled sadly up at me. We followed the nurse to his room. When we entered his room Katherine let go of my arm and ran go his side and held on to his hand.

Katherine's POV

I ran up to Link and grabbed hold of his hand.

"Link." I said shocked of how cold his hand was. Rhett got a chair for me and himself. I sat down in my chair and Rhett in his.

"Rhett, what if Link isn't ok? What happens if we never get to see him again?" I asked on the verge of tears.

"Hey, don't worry about that. He'll be fine, I promise." He said trying to cheer me up, but failed.

"Rhett you don't understand how much he means to me." I said. "He was my first committed relationship. He was always there for me. I loved him just as much as he loved me, probably even more. And now...he's trying to kill himself over me. Why me!?! He can do much better, I'm nothing. A-nd and Rhett, you can do way better than me. Why do you love me? I'm ugly a-an-nd fat an-" I said before I got cut off by Rhett.

"Katherine Amelia Sanchez! You are beautiful and I don't understand why you stay with me? You can do much better than me. Everyday I am blessed to even see you, let alone date you! I love you and it's a miracle that I get to wake up with you everyday!" He said. I smiled and kissed Rhett's cheek.

"And your anything but fat and ugly." He said. I laughed and shook my head.

"I wouldn't lie to you, girl." He said. I smiled and kissed him softly.

"Even if you were, and your not, I would still love you." He said. I gave him another kiss.

"I love you, Rhett." I said.

"I love you too." He replied. I smiled and looked back at Link and then down at my clothes. I was still in my pajamas!!! Rhett must of noticed.

"Kat, why dont I run home real quick and get us some clothes for the next few days, along with some other stuff." He offered.

"Yea that would be awesome baby, thank you." I replied.

"Okay I'll see you in a minute, love you. Bye." He said getting up to go to door.

"Bye, love you too!" I said to him before he walked out. I looked down at Link.

"Link, I love you. Even if it seems like I don't love, I do. I've never stopped loving you. I loved you long before you even knew I existed." I said. But I loved Rhett the same amount of time I've loved Link. I sighed. I decided to make an update video for the GMM channel. I grabbed my phone.

"Umm, hey guys. This is Katherine. Due to recent events we probably won't be doing GMM on a consistent schedule. And it won't be including Link. I can't go into it, but Link is in the hospital. I'm so sooo sorry for this, nothing was intended for Link to be in this condition. Please I beg of yall to be nice. No hate. For now I will see yall later. Bye!" I said before stopping the recording. I yawned and grabbed Link's hand.

"Link....why do you love me? You can have any girl, but you decide to love me? Why? I'm nothing special. You don't deserve me. If I didn't exist you would probably be at home, with a beautiful wife and some beautiful children. But.....here you are. And Link? I know you can't hear me but, when you called me and I heard you and Ally...it killed me. When you slapped me, it was the same result. I still love you, and I don't know why..." I said to the man in the coma. I was really tired and I know Link wouldn't mind if I crawled into bed with him. So I did, I pulled the cover back and crawled into bed next to him. I pulled the cover over us and laid my head on his chest. I moved him in a way so it was like he wasn't in a coma and we were at home, like how Rhett holds me. I slowly drifted off to sleep, without anything but Link on my mind...
