Tatum's POV:
We pulled up into my driveway, and I unbuckled my seatbelt. I turned to face him, and we locked eyes. His eyes are even more beautiful in person. His perfect, sparkling hazel eyes. All I've ever wanted. I sighed, and leaned in to hug him.
"Thank you for today, Ross. I really appreciate all that you've done for me. You're the best," I said into his shoulder. I could just feel him smile, which I loved.
"Of course. Text me later, beautiful," he said. I pulled away from our hug and blushed. I closed my eyes, running a hand through my hair.
"Ross . . ." I whined. He rolled his eyes, and pulled me in for one last hug. I pulled back and opened the car door. I shut it, and stood there, staring at him through the window, smiling.
He blew a big kiss at me and I rolled my eyes. I turned my feet and began walking towards my house, when I heard a horn. I looked to see that Ross had beeped the car horn. I giggled at his actions, waved at him, and ran into my house. I found my mother in the kitchen, cooking a meal, while my father is probably at work.
"Hi sweetie, how was your day?" She chirped, giving a small smile as she continued chopping onions.
"Awesome," I answers happily. Maybe a little bit too happily, but I couldn't help it. Ross made me feel good about myself; no one has ever done that before. When he tells me I'm beautiful, I get a tingly feeling. Any other time, I just feel ugly. But Ross, well, Ross is . . . special.
"Well, you seem awfully happy. Did you get a boyfriend?" She winked. I rolled my eyes as I felt heat creep up to my cheeks.
"Mommm . . ." I whined. She just chuckled and returned to her cooking. I grabbed some grapes from the fridge, rinsing them off and setting down at the table.
I felt my phone buzz, so I picked it out of my pocket, reading the message from . . . Ross. Why is that not surprising?
From Sexy: I miss you already.
Aw, too cute. He can't be home already; can he? He literally just left. I don't need him texting and driving. I don't want him texting and driving.
To Sexy: Ross, are you driving?
From Sexy: Yeah, why?
To Sexy: Stop. You can text me when you get home. Be safe and pay attention to the road. I'll talk to you later.
From Sexy: Okay. Bye Tatum.
I smiled, knowing that he will be safe. The last thing I want is for him to get hurt. It's almost like I need him; like I can't live without him. The thought of him getting hurt makes me wanna cry. Just the thought. He is the one who builds my confidence. He can almost control me. One of my only friends, other than Jordan. He means a lot to me.
Around nine, I went up to my room. I went on all my social medias, looking at all the followers I, don't have. In the middle of checking Instagram, my phone rang. Guess who? Ross. What's up with him?
I answered it, just so I wasn't rude, "Hello?"
"Hey Tatum. What's up?" His voice sounded tired, and sleepy. He yawned, but tried to hold it back. It didn't work, obviously. But I have to say, his yawns are adorable.
"Nothing. You sound tired, Ross," I explained. I heard him sigh.
"Yeah, I am. But I wanted to talk to you, so I called you. I'm not bothering you, am I? Were you getting ready to go to bed? I'm sorry."
"No, no, you're fine. So, what's up?" I asked, running my hand through my hair. I slid underneath my covers more, cuddling up to them.
I heard movement from the other line. "I wanted to hang out with you again tomorrow. I had fun with you today."
"Aw, I would love to, Ross! I had an amazing time today as well," I smiled to myself. I heard him chuckle a bit.
I giggled as well. I could almost feel Ross smile on the other end of the phone. I could just picture that flawless smile in my mind. One of my favorite smiles.
"Okay Tatum, I'll let you sleep. Goodnight, beautiful."
I blushed, "Ross, stop . . ." I cried.
"Nope. You're beautiful, Tatum. Goodnighttttt," he held it out, then hung the phone.
I rolled my eyes, and plugged my phone into it's charger. I laid my head on my pillow and curled up into my blankets.
I fell asleep with a giant smile on my face.
