Tatum's POV:
He officially hates me. It's been another full day, and he hasn't called me. I need to see him. I've wanted to call Rydel and ask to come over, but I feel like I'd be using her just for the ride. But that's apparently what it's coming to.
So I'm gonna find a way to get there. Whether I get a ride or I have to walk. I think I'm becoming mental. Ross not acknowledging me at all is eating me alive. I'm determined to see him. I need him. I know I've only said that a million time, but it's true.
I grasped my phone quickly and dialed Rydel's number. She gave it to me at the house. Plus, I miss the other guys too. It's been about four days, and I love them.
So I let my phone ring a few times, waiting for Rydel to pick up. Please, Rydel, please pick up! After the first six rings, I figured she wasn't going to answer. But then I suddenly heard her perky voice.
"Tatum! Hey, I miss you! What are you up to?" She chirped. I smiled at all of her perkiness. That's one thing I love about her.
"Hey Rydel! I was wondering, I have absolutely nothing to do today, so can I come over and hang out with you guys?" I asked, trying to make myself sound nice and not miserable.
"Of course! I'll pick you up in ten minutes, yeah?"
"Yep! Thanks Rydel! See you soon!" I yelled into the phone, then hung up. I quickly ran into my closet and pulled out an outfit, then ran into the bathroom.
I took a quick shower, and threw on the clothes that I picked out. Outfit on top. After sliding on my black converse, I ran down the steps and grabbed some bread, popping it into the toaster. While that toasted, I chugged a water bottle.
After eating my perfectly buttered toast, I looked out the window. Just in time. I smirked to myself as I saw Rydel's car pull into the driveway. I yelled bye to my mom and raced out the door. I opened the passenger door to Rydel's car, Chubbs.
"Hey Tatum!" She smiled. I waved and grinned at her, as she started off. I'm finally going to see Ross and all the other guys. I have to tell Ross.
This isn't just a crush.
As my best friend drove, I felt like I was sweating. I have no idea what's happening to me. Ross does something to me. I just don't know what it is. As we got closer to the house, and I could start seeing it, I smiled. Alright, here it goes.
Rydel pulled up into the driveway and I unbuckled my seatbelt. I opened the door and we got out. We walked up to the house and Rydel opened the door. We walked in and all the guys were in their boxers on the couch. Whoa, a dream come true. (LaniR5_ 😂)
They must've just woken up, and they were in what they wore to bed. Which is nothing. And I didn't mind. They didn't seem to mind either. But Ross's eyes locked with mine.
My breath hitched and I pushed a piece of hair behind my ear. All the guys stood up, except Ross who was still looking at me, and they gave me a group hug. I smiled and giggled.
Once they pulled away, I saw Ross stand up. He walked right past me, I'm guessing to go to his room, but I grabbed his wrist and stopped him. He looked at me and tried to get away.
"Guys, I'm gonna talk to Ross for a sec," I said, dragging Ross to his room. When we got in there, I shut the door.
I hurriedly pushed Ross against the wall and pushed my lips to his. He didn't hesitate to kiss me back. The best part, Ross is in his freaking boxers. Mmm.
We continued kissing until I seriously had to breathe before I passed out. I looked into his eyes as he did mine. I smiled, and leaned in, pecking his nose.
"Tatum-" Ross started. But I cut him off and put a finger to his lips.
"Ross, I made a huge mistake. I want you, and only you. I was so stupid for saying no to you. I don't care about our age, and I don't care how long we've known each other. I just want you," I breathed. Ross smiled, which soon enough turned into a frown. What?
"Tatum, you're too late."
"What? What do you mean? Ross, I've been trying to get ahold of you, and you wouldn't answer my calls or texts. I've wanted to tell you this for a few days now. What do you mean I'm too late?" I was so confused. He needs to explain more, and I have a feeling I'm not gonna like it.
"I have a girlfriend," he simply answered. What? A girlfriend? I hope he means me! I felt a tear run down my cheek. Ross shook his head.
"B-but I want you R-ross. I know I was s-stupid, but can you forgive me? I just- I want you," I whimpered, stuttering to him. He deeply sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.
I bit my lip and leaned in. I pressed my lips to his. I could tell he wanted to kiss me back, but apparently his girlfriend was holding him back. He pulled away.
"I'm sorry, Tatum. We can still be friends."
"What? Ross, just the other day you were telling me we can't be just friends! What the heck! You know what? Whatever," I walked out and slammed the door. I ran down the steps and out the door, as everyone stares.
I started walking to where ever my feet may take me. But then I heard my name being called.
"Tatum!"
"Ryland?"
