That day when I got home, my mother bitched at me like you wouldn't believe. The manager of the diner, who happens to know me pretty well, called my mother to tell her what had happened. She was furious with me. Hit me a couple times before sending me to my room. It didn't hurt me much. I was already very numb.

After a while, I had assumed that it was ok for me to come out of my room to take a shower. I turned on the faucet and stripped down to my bare skin. Once the hot water crashed against my ice cold skin, my muscles relaxed, making me let out a satisfied sigh. I got my cold damp hair wet with lava felt water and began to lather it with shampoo. I massaged my scalp with my finger nails and sighed at the wonderful feeling.

After rinsing out all the suds and putting conditioner in my hair, I sat down in the bath tub and thought about what gossip would be at the school the next day. The gossip about me. What I had done. How the demon in me had returned. How the lust to kill has returned. I was a monster and I couldn't cage them any longer.

As I sat in the tub, a single tear slid down my wet cheek. Then another and another. Soon, I couldn't stop the onslaught of tears. It hurt too much. The pain was too strong and I was too weak to fight. Only beginning my endless night. My heart wrenched in my chest as I struggled to breath through my sobs.  My tongue bitten wails filled the steamy room. It was only me, myself and I who could stop the demon in side of me, only I didn't see that happening any time soon. I don't know how long I was in the shower for, but I didn't want to get out.

The lava felt water slowly cooled to ice and snow. Leaving me to freeze my demons who were already that of frozen hearted.

The next day at school, I skipped history class. I found out that spending an entire period I the bathroom is more exciting than I thought. I sat in one of the stalls and never came out. But just because I didn't come out, doesn't mean that people couldn't come in. The conversations and gossip I heard was too much for my laughter to bare.

Once the bell rang for the period to be over, I bursted out of the bathroom laughing like a drunken man. I had just listened to someone's entire sex story and it was much more than a sad one. Poor girl, didn't know what a condom was. Like come on. You're in high school now. You haven't heard of it? Jeez.

As I entered the cafeteria after a couple periods, I could hear the gossip start to consume the room. Everyone went silent as they all saw me one by one. I pressed my lips into a firm like and walked on. As I sat my bag down at my usual corner table, people started to scoot away, or so their backs weren't facing me. I sat down for s couple minutes since the line was still long and started my people watching again. Or, maybe today wasn't the best day to do that.

"I heard she cut the guys throat and he survived."

"The guy was someone from the army trying to get recruits. Little bitch got in the way."

"No I heard he was a pedophile. He kidnaps kids and kills them."

"Rose and Louise were there. We should ask them what really happened later."

"How can they even be friends with her? It's like unreal!"

"Connor was there. He must be terrified of her now."

I shook my head as I got up from my seat with my stuff. I headed towards the lunch line which had seemed to die down. I got my lunch on a styrofoam tray, and headed toward the exit to eat outside. But just as I went to go and grab the door handle, the door swung open, knocking my pasta all over my shirt. I gasped and looked down at myself. Red was stained on my shirt and pasta covered my sneakers in an Italian mess. A couple people laughed, even the girl who had started it all. I hissed.
