Connor's POV

It was almost dusk when I finally reached her. Her body was tied up and bloody when I saw her curled up on the ground. She looked so scared and helpless. I wish I had gotten here sooner. At first I thought her cries were my mind playing tricks on me, then I knew they were real. I could feel the pain and fear in her cries and I knew she needed me. After all those things she said to me, I shouldn't have gone to help her out, but deep down in my heart I knew she didn't mean any of it what so ever.

When I pulled her frail body into my lap, I could feel her shaking in fear. It felt as if I were the body guy. I remember talking to her, trying to sooth her nerves, but nothing seemed to help. But once she realized that it was me? I don't think she's ever been happier. She sobbed harder than I've ever seen her sob before and she held on tighter to me than she did anything else. Of course, the boys were knocked out, fast asleep, so I knew they wouldn't bother us none. So I sat there with her for as long as I needed to. She eventually fell asleep and became a dead weight in my arms. That didn't stop me from taking care of her though.

I laid her down on the back of one of the boys trucks, or should I say I tried. She refused to let go of my shirt, and no, not in a sexual way. I wouldn't blame her. After all that she's been through today? Man I don't even know.

I remember going inside the house to look for anything to clean her wounds with. Nothing, nothing at all. The only thing I could think of that would be of use, were my healing powers. Which, may I add, were only for server purposes.

I think this was server enough.

I laid her down on what I assumed was the dinning room table after prying her fingers off of my shirt and began to take a couple deep breaths. Putting my hands over her, I concentrated on how her body looked like before she was abducted. Her perfect lips and stunning hair. Not to mention her flawless face.

At this point, there was no need to even 'try' in thinking about her body, there was only think.

Yeah, I can say that it drained me of all my energy, but for her? It was worth it. She didn't exactly wake up once I healed her, and that was fair enough. All she did was shift around trying to get comfortable. I knew she was drained and exhausted but I am not the one to judge.

I searched the house for whatever I thought would be helpful. Food, clothing, and anything else that would be of use. To my luck, I found a large t-shirts and a large pair of sweat pants in a dresser in the bedroom. As I was looking through the drawers, I found a nice pair of panties and a nice bra. Both were red and had black laced flowers all over them. I can't say I was disgusted, but I can say I was a little disturbed. I quickly left the room and found a large fuzzy blanket in a closet near the bathroom. These will be perfect for Cybele. I bet the last thing she wants is to be trapped in the clothes she was wearing right now.

As I walked around, I noticed that the house was anything but abandoned. It was clearly still in use. Hallways swept, rooms dusted, kitchen worn. But by whom? I shook the thought from my head and hurried back to Cybele. She was still asleep when I approached her once again. I took a deep breath before doing my best to change her out of her clothes while trying be discreet with my own eyes. The clothes seemed to stick to her skin, making it difficult to simply slip off of her body. I closed my eyes in frustration before attempting to peel her clothes off.

Changing her wasn't the easiest in the end but I managed to succeed anyways. I let out a long breath once I finished. I then picked her up and placed her in one of the trucks out side. The keys were still hanging in the ignition of the maroon truck, making it my only choice of color. But color wasn't part of my concern at the moment.

I gently slid her into the passenger seat and strapped her in with the soft blanket covering her body as if she were in a cocoon. I cracked a half smile at the sight before I closed the door and jumped into the driver seat. The truck wasn't in too bad of a shape. Minor rusting but nothing that could be deadly to the both of us. I just hoped the boys wouldn't mind me borrowing it.
