Lexi's P.O.V

I just sigh and look at Jayce.

"There really is something wrong with her isn't there?"

Jayce sighs and runs a hand threw his messy blond hair, and nods.

I sit on the desk and look at him, a small smile on my lips.

"There isn't anything going on between you two is there?" I ask before covering my mouth with my hand, and my eyes wide as jaw breakers.

Jayce just laughs at me and messes up my brown hair, by patting me on the head as if I was a dog.

"I can guarantee that she is interested in someone else, and that he is most defiantly not me, Lex." He give me that signature smirk and I find my breath getting caught in my throat.

I missed him saying my name, I missed how he would tease me or laugh at me.

I missed this, hopefully now everything would be back to normal, or whatever was normal to us.

I look at him and smile.

"I am feeling sick, Ms.Turner, and mother said that we should go home."

I looked at Jayce as if he was high.

I feel his head, and see he is burning up, I put his arm over my shoulder and pull him to the front office.

I look at the secretary Ms.Jones as she gives me a shocked expression.

"Ms. Turner you should be getting ready for fifth period what are you doing with Mr. Davis?"

I look at her with pleading eyes, "My cousin, Jay- I mean Mr. Davis, is burning up. May I take him home? He is in no shape to drive, and he was supposed to have dinner with me and my mother tonight."

Ms. Jones looks at me with a doubtful expression upon her wrinkled face, but she nods and signs us out.

I thank her and Carry Jayce's heavy ass to my beetle, I buckle him up and drive.

I turn the radio down, so it doesn't annoy him.

"Mommy, my hand ish a dolplin wook!" Jayce says moving his hand up and down, while mispronouncing almost every word.

What the hell was making act so loopy?

I took him to the only person who would know how to help him.

Liz's house, she is probably drunk, but she is an EMT and dated a male nurse once.

I pull up and see another car next to her Mercede's, a jet black Lambo.

I pull up and honk the horn, which makes Jayce cover his ears and whine.

"Come on mommy no woud noise's! My head hurts!" I feel his head and it is still worm.

I see Liz walk out with a blue robe wrapped around her, she scowls and comes over.

"Yes?" She asks a little harsh.

I'm guessing there was a guy in the house?

I motion to Jayce, who pretending he was steering a plane and was currently bombing people.

Liz just laughs and walks over to his side of the car, and gets on her knees to be at eye level with Jayce.

"Hi Jayce, whatcha doing buddy?"

Jayce just grins and looks at her "Bombing pweople."

Liz stretches out her right hand, and puts her hand against his  head and pulls away quickly.

"You're burning up buddy, I would say that you have a fever. How long have you been having a tummy ache?"

Jayce furrows his eyebrows, as if he was in  deep thought, then makes a popping noise with his lips.

"I wasn't feeling gwood this morning, I had a bad headache, and I guess I forgot to take my medeswin."

Liz just sighs and slaps her for head.

"Jayce why didn't you tell Ms. Lizzy you needed to take medicine?"  She asks trying not to yell at this adult who was clearly acting like he was three. What was up with Lizzy to? She hated that nickname.

Jayce looks down at the concrete and shrugs "We were dwinkin and I forgot."

Liz just stands up and walks inside before I can say another word.

She comes back out and stomps her foot at whoever is inside, she wiggles her finger at him, you know the one that says If you don't get your ass out here RIGHT NOW, I will pull you out.  A few seconds later I see a familiar face come out.

He looks at Jayce and starts laughing but stops when Liz punches him in the ribs.

She pulls him over to Jayce and point to him.

"What is wrong with him?!?! Is he broken?"

The guy laughs and shakes his head.

"He isn't a toy Lizzy, he can't be broken then fixed. He just forgot to take his meds is all. He has a really bad time controlling how hyper he is, so he was put on meds." How did he know this about Jayce?

"Hey buddy, where are your meds at?" The guy asks making Jayce look at him.

"I'm not saying Nicky!" Jayce says sticking his tongue out at him.

"Come on, please, Ms. Lizzy will give you ice cream if you tell us!"

Jayce's eyes light up like fireworks when he heard ice cream and he points to his left pocket.

Nick nods and picks up Jayce, putting him over his shoulder.

Jayce kicks and hits him while Nick walks.

"Put me down!!!!!!!!" Jayce screams

I follow them in and see Jayce is being held on the couch, Liz gets out vanilla ice cream and puts the pills in it.

She reads the label to make sure she put the right amount in, then takes it over to Jayce.

He claps his hands and eats the ice cream. When he finishes it, he tries to standup but falls back onto the couch.

I go up to him and see he is sleeping, Liz and the guy laugh.

Liz motions between us and laughs "Um, Nick this is Lexi. Lexi this is Nick, my boyfriend."

Boyfriend? I never thought I would see the day.

Liz didn't really like having boyfriends, she usually just had friends with benefits but ended them because the guy would be the one who fell for her.

I smile and wave

He laughs and points to me "So you're the one who has my little bro Jayce all crazy in love?"

I blush and nod.

"How long before he is back to normal?"

"Um when he wakes up, he wont remember what happened though.
